'It's Purge Week!' THREAD. Happy, so sharing. These are all the clothes I own in Mumbai now. Bottom shelf is carpets 😁. Donated everything I bought in the last decade. The rule for 2021 is to fill life with and spend unlimited money on: Food, Travel, Music, Books & Shows. Why?
Fly nice airlines, stay in nice hotels, eat at the best restaurant, front row seats. Get styled for a shoots/events, wear & return. Not gonna lie, life's been heavy since we lost Watson. I've struggled, and now that one is finally coming up for air I really needed a reset. How?
So thought I'd start by giving it all away. Charities will come pick up clothes from your house and give them to the needy. It's hard to explain how happy it makes you. We chose enrich lives foundation. Or ELF. This is their site and there are various ways to help them.
Hats, guitars, books and DVDs will all soon go on an online thrift charity sale soon. Just keeping the memories on the wall. The rule is if looking at it doesn't inform your goal, goal being what you define as happy, or the new you...fuck it. Sorta overnight Marie Kondo.
I'm sharing for anyone who is going through a bad patch, and lets face it, we all kinda are...just some more quietly than others. As we come outta this thing, we get to decide who we wanna be again. Sometimes a purge is the healthiest thing. Less shit, new you.
Peace ✌️
