MacArthur Fellows @nhannahjones and Ta-Nehisi Coates join the @HowardU faculty to establish the Center for Journalism and Democracy: #MacFellow macfound.org/press/press-re… 
Pulitzer Prize-winner @nhannahjones will be a tenured member of the faculty of the @howarduchsoc, filling the newly-created Knight Chair in Race and Journalism. Coates will be a faculty member in the flagship College of Arts and Sciences.

.@nhannahjones will also establish the Center for Journalism and Democracy, to train and support the next generation of aspiring Black journalists to gain the investigative and analytical skills needed to cover our democracy.
MacArthur, @Knightfdn, @FordFoundation, and an anonymous donor have contributed $20 million to support @HowardU’s demonstrated academic and journalistic excellence.
