The reason so many in our media and left wing block (but I repeat myself) get upset with the likes of Ernst Roets touring the US is that he threatens their narrative capture.

Narratives are the stories you’re sold on everything from whether you should like the American President to whether our President is doing a good job. For the most part the corporate media takes it upon themselves to direct the narrative - a form of capture.
Farm murders for example are politically inconvenient to just be reported as horrific murders which often seem motivated by nothing more than hate. So the narrative is that these are not a real issue or are merely a right wing talking point. Through repetition most believe this.
Thus the narrative is captured by a select group of corporations, government apparatchiks, and individuals.
What someone like Ernst does when he escalates such an issue to circles of power outside of those which the narrative capturers control, is threaten the entire system.

Thus the closer any antagonist to a narrative gets to interfering with the capture the louder and generally more ridiculous/abusive the noise/action from the capturers becomes.
Hence Roets being nonsensically called a racist etc. and even attempts to have him deported.

This strategy is used in fascist states as well as free ones. The only difference is that you aren’t physically murdered in a free society for going against the narrative - which is the reason we now have social/emotional murder (cancellation).
Over the past few years there have been several threats to the greater narrative capture which is why you see certain voices banned from social media spaces. The rise of ‘fact checkers’ and terms like mis/disinformation are equally used to prevent challenges to narrative capture.
To fight back against this you need to actively support those who challenge narratives and stand against the capturers. Be curious and question the narratives you believe. Perhaps they reflect objective truth and perhaps they just reflect a truth others want you to believe.
