5th House in Vedic Astrology -

5H is one of the three trikona bhava[The spiritual triangle consists of aspects of the soul's mission, accumulated merit,& the manifestation of past karma]which denotes our blessings.

5H is bhavat bhavam of 9th house & 9H is bhavat bhavam of 5H.

The two houses (5th & 9th) thus compliment each other.

5th house represents the Sanchita Poorva Punya that is accumulation of past life Karmas.Our Poorva Karmas effect our Present life.

Our Ishta Devata (chosen deity as per our vedic astrology chart, is the one whom we pray to, and who can guide us towards fulfilling our true purpose / Atmakarka in this life) is also denoted by 5th house and lord of 5th house.

Past life deeds, bhakti, good values, morals and spiritual practices are indicated by 5th house. Graha / planet and rashi here indicate the mantra one should recite for spiritual progression.

5th bhav indicates how we use our intellect and handle our life. Good 5th bhav & 5th lord help one excel in academics. Subjects of higher education are indicated by the sign, lord, planets in 5th house.

5th is also house of creativity. Creative hobbies & performing arts.Sports & entertainment are domain of 5H. It is also related to stock market speculation, gambling,casino,buying lottery, betting etc which gives fortune/luck through these as 5H is bhavat bhavam of 9thH of luck.

Since 5th house is the use of intelligence & good deeds opposite results are also true such as conspiracies ,immoral plans & criminal activities under the influence of malefic planets and aspects.

Romance, affairs, conceiving & child birth ( creation of new life) are also the subject matters of 5H. In jathaka chakra, 5th house indicates children.Jupiter is Sthira Karaka /
Natural putrakaraka planet which denotes children.

Dasha ( Planetary period) of 5th lord provides positivity on above matters of life. If malefic, person becomes clueless, takes wrong decisions,lack of focus & interest in worship,health problems of children,strained relations with children, challenges faced by father, etc.

Planets relating to religion is a interesting topic. Hinduism /Sanatana Dharma which is about way of life this makes Hinduism complex considering we have so many different paths in Hinduism. So I think it would not be justice to put Hinduism under the umbrella of Jupiter.

Tantra aspect of Hinduism relates to Shukracharya / venus in Hinduism. Shukracharya relates to occult and mysticism. Vedas aspect of Hinduism relates more so with jupiter as jupiter is Guru brihaspati ,vedas is jupiterian in nature.

Spirituality aspect of Hinduism such as Yoga & Chakra has ketu energy. Ketu denotes detachment and spirituality. All hindu Yogis are in path of ketu.
Sun has so much significance in Hinduism.Every worshipping of hindu deities start with Agni, fire ritual /havan.
