A new books claims Donald Trump praised Adolf Hitler in 2018.
In 1990, Trump told Barbara Walters he owned a book of Adolf Hitler’s speeches and it was given to him as a gift.
Although Trump denies studying Hitler’s speeches, the Marie Brenner interview Barbara Walters referenced in Vanity Fair magazine tells a different story. archive.vanityfair.com/article/share/…
Trump’s cousin saluted him with “Heil Hitler?”
Ivana Trump told a friend that John Walter, Donald Trump’s cousin and Trump Organization employee, would “click his heels” and say “Heil Hitler” when he visited Donald’s office.
Ivana Trump said that Donald Trump reads from “a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed.”
Trump said his friend Martin Davis of Paramount gave him the Hitler book. Trump identified the wrong Hitler book, Mein Kampf, which may indicate he owns more than one Hitler book.
Trump also claimed Davis was Jewish which Davis denies.
Trump brought up the Hitler speeches again during the Vanity Fair interview: "if I had these speeches, and I am not saying that I do, I would never read them."
The interviewer then speculated if Ivana was saying that Donald was a “crypto-Nazi” and then compared Trump to Hitler.
