Inside Danfo this evening at Ketu, a guy refused to pay, so the conductor removed his two palm slippers in a struggle. The guy kept dragging with the conductor that he’s not going to pay. Because of the noise, I told the conductor to remove 200 Naira from my 300 Naira change..
with him. He replied “egbon e ma worry, eleyi ma sanwo mi ki o to bole ni Ketu yi seh, aijebe, ko ni gba bata e” (Bros, no worry, this one will pay me himself before alighting at this Ketu, else he won’t collect his palm slippers). So I didn’t bother. I kept quiet watching them..
Suddenly, the guy dragged his slippers off the conductors hand then jump down. Conductor ran after him shouting “Oloriibu wa sanwo mi jor” (Head of ibu, come and pay my money jor).

After further dragging on the ground, he finally let go then came into the bus to continue...
the journey to Mile 12.

I asked for my change and this guy gave me 100 Naira.

I said “kileleyi” (what’s this?), he replied “shebi eyin le sope kin yo owo bobo yen leekan” (were you not the one who said I should remove that guy’s money from your change the other time?)...
Bobo, that offer expired immediately you said I should not worry. Give me my 300. That’s how we started dragging again till we reach Mile 12. He sha gave me my 300, i came down but suddenly heard twai on my cheek and it’s this conductor giving me a sound slap as the bus drove by.
😞 😭

This Alpha male thing is funny. We are now in a generation where men wants to be seen as men, respected as men but don't want to carry women's responsibilities. It can't work.

Whether you are married or not, so far you are in a relationship, you must either choose equality...
or be fully ready to take responsibilities as a man. You can't have the two.

You want your girlfriend to be submissive to you, be good cook and at the same time, you don't want her to be asking for money from you. It can't work.

Those responsibilities you are carrying...
are the reason she's submissive. They are the reason she holds you as number one and hail you as the head. If she starts bringing exactly what you bring into the relationship, then you lose your savour.

It's only selfishness that will make you want to be treated as bossman...

Why i said Lawyers are one of the reasons for high rent in Lagos!

Firstly, they are not Real Estate professionals, they are lawyers. In the real estate world, they are quacks just like the uneducated street agents.

A Laboratory Scientist can't treat a patient even though...
he carries out test on patients. That's not his job, he will do it wrongly.

Same as lawyers practicing agency and property management, they are doing it all wrong.

Property management is not just bringing in tenants and collecting rent/agreement...
It involves the art and science of survey which aids price fixing and selection of tenants.

A professional in the field knows that once he get a brief, he needs to do his market survey, weigh some parameters and quantify them against other comparables before coming up with a...

So i went to the bank in Ikorodu this afternoon to make a transfer and on getting there, i met a huge crowd outside waiting for their turn to go in. I joined in waiting and immediately it was my turn, a woman from nowhere jumped queue and was rushing to enter...
The security officer blocked her way and she pushed him back but the man quickly used the door to block her, then the drama ensued. "Do you know who i am" "you are a stupid man" "you are crazy, a fool, do you know who you are blocking, you wanted to wound me abi... must be stupid, you are just a mere security man and you want to wound me, i am a banker her and you don't expect me to queue". The chief security intervened "madam, no vex. You should have waited and you don't expect him to know you are a banker...

So I was robbed inside Danfo on Monday!!!

A very terrible experience that left me hanging. This past week has been something else and you guys have to be careful out there.
So I boarded the bus at Ketu interchange heading for Berger on that Expressway. The front door was opened and a well dressed guy came down for me to enter and sit close to the driver before entering back.
The fare was 150 but I gave the conductor 200 and he passed me 50 change. On getting to Alausa Secretariat, everyone at the back seats alighted and I was left with the driver, the conductor and the guy beside me.
Funny enough, I wasn't pressing my phone, it was in my pocket.
