Inside Danfo this evening at Ketu, a guy refused to pay, so the conductor removed his two palm slippers in a struggle. The guy kept dragging with the conductor that he’s not going to pay. Because of the noise, I told the conductor to remove 200 Naira from my 300 Naira change..
with him. He replied “egbon e ma worry, eleyi ma sanwo mi ki o to bole ni Ketu yi seh, aijebe, ko ni gba bata e” (Bros, no worry, this one will pay me himself before alighting at this Ketu, else he won’t collect his palm slippers). So I didn’t bother. I kept quiet watching them..
Suddenly, the guy dragged his slippers off the conductors hand then jump down. Conductor ran after him shouting “Oloriibu wa sanwo mi jor” (Head of ibu, come and pay my money jor).
After further dragging on the ground, he finally let go then came into the bus to continue...
the journey to Mile 12.
I asked for my change and this guy gave me 100 Naira.
I said “kileleyi” (what’s this?), he replied “shebi eyin le sope kin yo owo bobo yen leekan” (were you not the one who said I should remove that guy’s money from your change the other time?)...
Bobo, that offer expired immediately you said I should not worry. Give me my 300. That’s how we started dragging again till we reach Mile 12. He sha gave me my 300, i came down but suddenly heard twai on my cheek and it’s this conductor giving me a sound slap as the bus drove by.
😞 😭

While we are talking about the flood in Lekki, another thing is happening in Nigeria underground.

They will be in charge of this tax through a process called “Track and Trace”.
It’s like they didn’t do due diligence in ICRC because this SICPA is a company once convicted…
If you see someone shouting at the top of his voice ranting amongst the crowd towards a beggar at Agric Bus stop this evening. That was me.
Today, I saw manipulation and it broke me. 😡😡😡
I was driving behind this Wrangler SUV trying to link Ikorodu road from Agric - Isawo
road. Suddenly, a beggar who has two legs but one hand approached the SUV in front of me begging through the window. That one didn’t wind down, he kept driving in the small traffic Agric market caused. This beggar didn’t leave the vehicle, he clung to it as it moved.
I was watching.
The driver kept driving slowly waiting for the Lastma officer at the bus stop to pass us into Ikorodu road. Suddenly, this beggar’s leg became stuck around the Wranglers tyre. The crowd had to call the attention of the driver. He stopped, came down and
I have come to realize the power “Silence” wields. When people expect you to react and you don’t, they fear you.
Some weeks ago, I noticed some lights in my Living room stopped working. These lights are controlled by one switch. Funny enough, I somehow wired this apartment…
…mostly by myself. I have a little bit of experiences in electrical, carpentry, plumbing and what have you. Jack of all trades? You can say that again.
So, instead of trying to repair this light myself, I decided to contract it out if I get any electrician. Some days later…
while walking close to my street, I noticed the popular area electrician. A young guy in his early 30s sleeping in his shop. I remembered my pending electrical issue and quickly walked up to him. I woke him up and he promised to visit my apartment. Hours later, he came in,…
The danfo i entered from Ketu to Fadeyi na elele. We didn't have issues on the road until we got to Onipanu bus stop. The driver parked at the original designated bus stop which is far away from where buses drop people usually...
His reason is that he doesn't want problems with LASTMA under Onipanu pedestrian bridge. He told everyone that after that place, it's until we get to Fadeyi ooo.
The people alighting at Onipanu started dragging with the conductor. Insults were flying around laaro kutukutu Monday
A rough looking guy with swollen mouth and plastered face was the main man fighting the conductor. He threatened hell, promising to beat him up but all my efforts to see the fight happen didn't work. They only shouted and alas, we left, drove small and got to under bridge.
