2/βοΈ Our journey started in Summer 2019 when we realised smart contracts could be used differently. If Alice could *agree* to send Bob 10DAI/month, the whole economic relationship could be settled at once, with one single transaction. Money could stream with no gas.
3/π οΈ Thanks to a community of over 1000 builders, engineers and designers, we were able to bring to life a protocol that codifies these agreements on-chain, enabling capital to flow across the economy with no friction.
4/π§βπ» We have seen unprecedented innovation and creativity among the 80+ projects that leverage the Superfluid Protocol so far - such as those built at HackMoney by @ETHglobal.
5/β€οΈ The passion, interest and love we see during hackathons, our community calls and daily in our Discord are a constant boost of energy to keep building and improving the protocol together.
6/π We would like to thank all of you who believed in our vision from the start, and especially those that contributed hands on along the way, in particular our team and the pioneers that backed us.
9/π We will use the new funds to improve our community support and engagement, servicing those building new money legos for DeFi and beyond. This will include more hackathons, dedicated grants and expanding our core team!
10/π₯ If you are a senior smart contract developer, a DeFi marketing manager, or simply want to build Real-time Finance with us apply here, we would love to hear from you! jobs.superfluid.finance
11/πΈ The future of crypto is powered by seamless asset streams that flow across the economy with no friction, such that the effort needed from users and capital is used in the most efficient way possible.
Superfluid is a smart contract framework on L1 Ethereum, enabling you to move assets on-chain following predefined rules called agreements
With a single on-chain tx, the money will flow from your balance to the receiver in real time! No other tx required

We live in a digital economy dominated by online services yet we are still tied to recurring monthly transactions. Payments should be liquid, streaming as long as we use a service, until we cancel
Superfluid makes that possible, reducing gas costs and mental burden on users
