It's fine to think all governments are bad, as long as you're also aware that one of those governments is far, far more powerful and destructive than any of the others and that the behavior of other governments is largely a defensive response to the aggressions of the worst one.
If your anti-state commentary doesn't reflect this reality, then it can only ever benefit the agendas of the most powerful and murderous state on the planet. Just firing indiscriminate scattergun criticisms at all states equally only advances US imperialist propaganda agendas.
It seriously seems like half the time a black flag anarchy account shows up in my mentions it's to promote US imperialist propaganda narratives against Syria, China, Russia etc, and it's like yeah nice anarchy dude, being a pro bono propagandist for the worst government on earth.
Whenever the US empire rolls out a propaganda campaign against a disobedient government, it's impossible to circulate narratives opposing that government without facilitating the US propaganda campaign, and therefore all the deadly agendas that campaign is designed to advance.
Before they launch missiles, they launch propaganda campaigns. Before they wage siege warfare, they wage narrative warfare. You are responsible for the narratives you choose to circulate in the world. You are responsible for choosing to participate in imperialist aggressions.

Biden Administration Completely Kills The "It's A Private Company So It's Not Censorship" Argument

"In a corporatist system of government, where there is no separation between corporate power and state power, corporate censorship is state censorship."
caitlinjohnstone.substack.com/p/biden-admini…
In what's surely the biggest "Imagine the outrage if Trump had done that" moment to date, the Biden administration has admitted that it is giving Facebook a list of accounts to censor for spreading "disinformation" about the Covid-19 response.

Luke Harding's Continued Employment Discredits All Western Media

@lukeharding1968 continues to receive mainstream traction promoting theories that Trump conspired with the Kremlin, despite he and his theories having been fully discredited many times over.
caitlinjohnstone.substack.com/p/luke-harding…
.@guardian has published an article co-authored by Harding on "what are assessed to be leaked Kremlin documents" which "suggest" that Russian officials had a conversation which delivers "apparent confirmation that the Kremlin possesses kompromat" on Trump
Note the highly qualified language, an ever-present phenomenon in the thinly sourced Russiagate stories we were inundated with throughout the entirety of Trump's presidency: "suggest", "assessed to be", "apparent", "appearing to", "seem to". Image

Freedom Is Not Free (That's Why You Don't Have Any)

"Freedom is not free. It takes billions of dollars worth of mass media propaganda to manufacture the illusion of freedom."
caitlinjohnstone.substack.com/p/freedom-is-n…
"Freedom is not free," goes the old bumper sticker slogan, commonly accompanied by an image of a flag or soldiers or some other bullshit.
Freedom is not free, the saying goes, because military personnel are out there laying their lives on the line fighting for your right to do as you're told and toil away at a meaningless job making some rich asshole even richer.

Anarchism sounds good in theory but in practice it just means regurgitating foreign policy talking points from the US State Department.
Anarchists lining up on this post to prove it wrong by proving it right.

Many leftists shy away from speaking out against western imperialism because they see international dynamics as too complex, when really it's the LEAST complex part of the capitalist empire. The world's largest power structure murders human beings to exert control. Very simple.
If you understand that police brutality is a problem or that oligarchs are robbing the working class, then the idea that they're also holding together a globe-spanning empire using nonstop mass murder should be super easy. Only propaganda spins it as more complicated than that.
Once you see how simple it is, how profoundly evil it is, and how all the other abuses of the empire depend on it, you understand that opposing the war machine of the US-centralized power alliance should be the very foremost priority of any leftist. It is the head of the beast.

Space colonization will never happen. It's a delusion promoted by billionaires who have a vested interest in marketing the idea that the ecologically unsustainable nature of status quo capitalism can be resolved by turning humanity into a spacefaring species. They are lying.

Space Colonization Is A Capitalist Perception Management Op

"If space colonization isn't possible, then the people who are destroying our environment for money are just deranged lunatics who must be stopped at all cost.
But they are. And we must."
