Reminder: Boris Johnson has personally prevented British security services from investigating Russian interference in the UK
Major new revelations from @lukeharding1968 & @julianborger that should make huge waves in US.

Details of documents that appear to come from Jan 2016 Kremlin meeting & reveal systematic & organised attack against US election
But I want to point out the extreme coincidence of this timing with regards to Britain.

ONE DAY before this Kremlin meeting, this was the headline that went around the world. A British court found Putin behind Litvinenko killing & British PM condemned him personally

‘Home Secretary Theresa May said the murder was a "blatant and unacceptable" breach of international law.

'David Cameron says the UK is to take tougher action against Russia following the Alexander Litvinenko inquiry...Mr Cameron called the murder "absolutely appalling" and said the inquiry "confirms what we always believed.'

I woke up this morning with the same dread I've had for the last 10 mornings. It feels like we are sleepwalking into another disaster.

It's not just that we're not listening to the scientists - 1,246 now have signed Lancet letter - we're also not listening to most vulnerable.
3.7 million people in this country who are clinically vulnerable. Many are rightly terrified. And their views & fears are not breaking through.

Ridiculous views of privileged white men's views on taking the knee are trending. This, honestly, is not what's important right now.
Many people feel abandoned. Because they have been.

We cannot trust this government not to kill us.

Cases are rising exponentially. Hospitalisations are rising exponentially. Double vaccinated people are catching it. 2.2 million clinically extremely vulnerable people have been told nothing.
From this week's newsletter. We are going to have more cases than at any time of the pandemic by 19 July.
Britain is going its own way again. We are acting against WHO's explicit advice. We know how this ended last time.

No less than Dominic Lawson is 100% in agreement with me on this point. It's patently ludicrous that Boris Johnson is denying it's following a herd immunity strategy. And yet, he's created such a reality-warping forcefield that the words have been banished from public debate

A huge number of scientists, journalists & politicians are completely silent on govt’s plans for July 19.

Remember how wise everyone was *after* Johnson failed to lock down in mid March? If you don’t speak up now, I hope to God you shut the fuck up later
In March, a lot of people desperate to believe our leaders had this. Entire news orgs took view they had to back PM in national crisis *even though he ignored all @WHO advice*.

Exact same thing happening all over again. @WHO couldn’t be more clear
