Notice that anger rising?

I do.

Fraud is fact.

Truth is emerging (for others, you & I have known for a while).

So...

What is our response.

Righteous indignation.

And that’s justified.

But what do we do with righteous indignation?

In my view, it should be the initial fuel source towards justice, but not the only fuel source.

I love justice.

I love truth.

Anger can give me the nudge to get going, but sustaining righteous indignation should eventually transition into a proclamation of the truth.

The truth should be my motivation.

When someone attacks/suppresses truth, anger is a justified first response.

But be sober minded.

Since Jesus Christ is truth, anger cannot be the resulting/main emotion.

Love must conquer bc love & truth are the same (Jesus Christ).

You see the fraud in our country?

Good. Use your anger to motivate you.

But use your mind (that God gave you & told you to be sober minded with - 1 Pet 5:8) to engage your more robust array of emotions & reasoning.

Smash with facts.

Smash with truth.

Smash with love.

Smash with the gospel.

There are MANY people believing lies that will receive the fact of fraud as a NEW thing.

You don’t need to be seen as an angry jerk as these previously-enslaved minds posture towards the truth.

Don’t waste the chance for truth by cudgeling fledgling minds tasting truth for the first time.

Use the gospel of Jesus Christ (death, burial, resurrection) as the subtext to explain all this evil.

Use eternity to put this political corruption into context.

Double whammy!!!
