This footage shows instances of severe flooding on 3 different continents simultaneously over the weekend, in the southwestern U.S., western Europe, and New Zealand. More than 170 people have been killed as a result of extreme floods in western Europe in the last week alone.
Scientists warned that climate change would lead to extreme weather. It is here.
NASA scientists have also raised alarm bells that lunar activity—the moon's regularly occurring 'wobble,' which occurs over a cycle of approx 18 years—is expected to make 'high tides higher' by the 2030s.
According to Reuters, this will create even more instances of regular extreme flooding, which will result 'from the combination of the continuing sea level rise associated with climate change and the arrival of an amplification part of the lunar cycle in the mid-2030s.'

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Twitter account was temporarily suspended after posting misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines, according to CNN. The Georgia rep was blocked from tweeting for 12 hours.
Once her page was unblocked, Greene compared Twitter’s decision to communism.

In a July 19 press release, Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL) revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19, despite being fully vaccinated earlier this year. He is reportedly quarantining at home with ‘mild flu-like symptoms.’
In a statement, he shared that he looks ‘forward to returning to work as soon as possible. In the meantime, this should serve as a reminder that although the vaccines provide a very high-degree of protection, we must remain vigilant in the fight against COVID-19.’
The CDC says ‘a small percentage’ of people who are vaccinated will still contract the virus, but being vaccinated could prevent serious infections or symptoms.
