@1Geofferson82@Agendacrisis If you cant deduce from these articles that what we have now is a campaign of social engineering and a fast track to a society built on top of a heavily mechanised/digitalised framework then I don't know what to say to you.
@1Geofferson82@Agendacrisis There's no room for normal or old way of doing things. It's all change from this point onwards.
@1Geofferson82@Agendacrisis I'm sure the people working on all the tech that will used for this digital transformation of society are all good people with good intentions. The problem isn't the tech per se but how it is used and who it is used by. Blockchain for example can cut out centralised entities...
@1Geofferson82@Agendacrisis I like the tech behind blockchain, it's legit and useful for many use cases. Problem is, governments could use it to create digital fiat cryptocurrencies and control how you receive and how you spend it, better than they can with paper money
@1Geofferson82@Agendacrisis AI also has it's uses and had functional applications in many areas, but it can also be misused and there are potential implications. Augmented & Virtual reality, great for escapism, gaming, leisure, but then governments could restrict or destroy your real world social activities
@1Geofferson82@Agendacrisis And basically offer those options as your only means of accessing events, or meeting people, because they dont want you flying across the world, increasing the carbon footprint every time you do that (they have targets to bring that down drastically by 2025)
@1Geofferson82@Agendacrisis Then we move on to the meaty parts. Human augmentation and transhumanism and this is where it starts to get freaky. I'll let you do the research on those 😉
@HullJrah@hughosmond What's a care home though? What proportion of care homes are actually Hospices? Many in hospices are already on end of life care. Something to note, when the initial wave of deaths in care homes happened, positive test within 60 days rather than 28 days was stated as covid death
@HullJrah@hughosmond Reason why I'm making a distinction is that this blanket term care home could actually break down into different institutions where people are there for different purposes & different health conditions. Many of the deaths could have been ppl with months or days left to live
@HullJrah@hughosmond Now someone terminally ill in a hospice, told they have a month or so to live, tests positive for covid and dies 5-6 weeks later of their illness could still be a covid death cos they died within 60 days of a positive test. All 'care homes' are not the same
