Our first female summer Olympians were Sarah ‘fanny’ Durack and Wilhelmina Wylie. Both from NSW they competed in the 1912 Stockholm games. Durack won gold in the 100m freestyle swimming - Wylie took home a silver in the same event. They were also good mates. 🥰
