Gentle, mildly panicked reminder that as of tomorrow it will be 8 days until the Federal eviction moratorium ends. You have a little over a week to prepare your community. At the minimum you should find out what services are available and know how to get folk set up with them.
Also keep in mind that those services are going to be quickly overwhelmed. Find out who your local mutual aid groups are and what resources they need. We don't have any more time to fuck around on this. If resources aren't available during a pandemic a lot of people will die.
Even with resources that is going to happen. There are going to be children, elderly, and immunocomprimised out in bad heat with no shelter. This not the time to get overwhelmed, it is the time to pull together, noone is going to take care of us but us.
Tldr you have 8 days to prep your community for the largest number of newly houseless folk we have ever seen. Fucking buy up a cart of beans and rice to distribute, have jugs of water to hand out, snag some salt so they can put a pinch in the water to replace what they sweat out
Oh, and a multivitamin to replace the loss of trace minerals due to a more limited diet. With those basics most folk will be OK for quite awhile. You might also look into bulk formula for babies, since lactation will decease due to stress(assuming that's how they were feeding)
The character limit makes effective PSAs real challenging.
