NFT Theses + Thoughts

1. NFTs = digital property rights

2. NFTs enable a metaverse to form becuz ppl actually own their digital stuff

3. NFTs will be larger than crypto (crypto = $ of metaverse, NFTs = all stuff in metaverse)

4. NFT art will eat the traditional art market

5. NFTs = most efficient means to display status

6. Screen time + technology constantly becoming more immersive (Telegraph > Telephone > Video Conferencing > Virtual Reality)+ NFTs = the metaverse is inevitable

7. Most NFTs will be worth nothing

8. Virtual world platforms are the next generation social media (no objective, socialize, create, show status, etc)

9. There will be many NFT marketplaces each focused on specific NFT sectors

10. "Blockchain" games will just be called "video games" (every game will have NFTs)

11. NFTs = the new social media (instead of showing personality through photos of yourself - ppl can look directly at assets and infer about personality)

12. Within 3 years, people will create multi-million dollar businesses that are fully contained inside virtual worlds

13. Digital fashion will be far larger than the physical fashion industry ($1.5 trillion in size)

14. Metaverse-native (co's and ppl native to this tech paradigm) will defeat incumbents

15. New types of co's and forms of value will be created that we can even fathom today

16. NFTs will become a multi-trillion dollar asset class once we break into regulated markets (Property titles, IP, derivative contracts, etc)

17. The metaverse will introduce a global minimum wage and lift billions into the middle class

18. The metaverse will massively advance AI (huge $$ incentives for AI's that act like humans)

19. The majority of the world's value will be in the form of an NFT

20. The social & experiential layers around NFTs will be much larger than the financial infrastructure around NFTs

21. Most people will spend the majority of their time within the metaverse (not in a dystopian way - we already spend most of our waking hours staring at screens!)

22. We are in the midst of a creative renaissance because NFTs allow global participation and creation of arts

23. The metaverse will accelerate, normalize, and advance the adoption of brain-machine interfaces (BMIs)

24. Most beings within the metaverse will be AI's

25. Internet turned everyone into a blogger - NFTs will turn everyone into an investor

26. NFTs are memes with monetary value making them the most viral forms of communication ever created

27. If it were not for the Federal Reserve printing massive amounts of money, NFTs would have taken many more years to get mainstream attention

28. NFTs are the trojan horse to crypto mass adoption (games = more fun + understandable than new, novel forms of money and value)

29. Very soon, in order to succeed (monetarily) in the NFT markets, users will need to specialize in certain sectors

30. Oddly enough, the simple act of enabling scarcity into an enviroment that was previously unlimited (the internet) will lead to the largest change human society has seen become a city-dwelling species (leads to metaverse formation)
