When conservatives say "get help" what they really mean is "be permanently removed from society by any means necessary" and I think that's beautiful
in most conservative dialects, "mental illness" is derived from the root meaning of "death sentence" but with a clearly more aspirational bent -- someone you /wish/ had a death sentence, in effect.
Lovely language, very context-sensitive
Conservatives also have a term unique to their language, "common sense," which refers specifically to a personal assumption that is not evidence-based, but is deeply-held to a disproportionate degree.
It took researchers generations of contextual observation to finally define it
One of the more esoteric shared words between the conservative dialect and american english is "children."
The standard meaning is simply "young human" but for conservatives, the meaning is closer to "ideologically unclaimed property" and used almost exclusively for white kids.
The ideological facet of the word 'children' is in fact so strong that it can stand alone without referring to any actual humans at all, but the concept of a human child that may or may not exist but is definitely being harmed by gay people living their lives
Some researchers suggest we've only scratched the surface; 'child' may refer exclusively to the tulpa-like ideal being that a conservative speaker projects forcibly onto a real child until the child fits the imagined mold or breaks entirely.
We've still much to learn.
Be careful if you decide to engage someone speaking conservative so as not to offend -- the dialect does not differentiate between criticism of a behavior and condemnation of character.
If you say "you are doing a racism" the conservative will hear "you are a racism." Careful!
Meaning inversion is common in conservative dialects, e.g.:
- the word 'support' consistently involving the bloodshed or pain of those being supported
- perpetrators of CSA and sexual trafficking titled 'pillars of the community'
- "freedom" standing in for violent suppression
