Barrack provided $5 M cash and 21 M shares of the company he founded, now called DigitalBridge (DB). Son, Thomas Barrack III, ex-wife Rachelle, and Jonathan Grunzweig, a DB exec, signed over their residences. His lawyers promised to relinquish Barrack’s US and Lebanese passports.
During Barrack's short stay in jail, he resigned from the boards of USC, First Republic Bank and DigitalBridge. As part of the terms of his release, the magistrate prohibited Barrack from having contact with Emirati or Saudi officials. 
The only Emirati charged in the indictment is businessman Rashid Sultan Rashid Al Malik Alshahhi, aka Rashid Al-Malik. Prosecutors say he facilitated Barrack’s comms with UAE officials. Al-Malik left the U.S. in 2017 after being interviewed by Mueller. He remains at large.
