Sacred Heart Church was built in 1911 and St. Gregory's Mission Church was also a century old.

12/ On June 26, two more Catholic churches were tragically burned to the ground in British Columbia.

St. Ann's Church on Upper Similkameen Indian Band land, and Chopaka Catholic Church on Lower Similkameen land near the U.S. border were set ablaze.

13/ June 26 also saw St. Paul's Anglican Church in northwestern British Columbia get set ablaze.

The church was built in the 1880s and has been abandoned for some time.

14/ Also on June 26, St. Peter-in-Chains Catholic Cathedral in Peterborough, Ontario had eggs thrown at it.

Ironically, the cathedral had a makeshift residential schools memorial.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church on Sipekne’katik First Nation in Nova Scotia was damaged by fire.

As one of the most ornate churches in Alberta, it was built in 1907 and to French-Canadian ecclesiastical style.

One of the churches is an African Evangelical Church whose congregation consists of many refugees fleeing persecution based on their faith.

24/ On July 1st, it appears that the same St. Paul's Anglican Church, which was damaged by fire on June, was set ablaze again. This time, destroying the church.

The century-old church had been well-preserved and included an impressive bell tower.

25/ On July 1st, the Cathedral of Mary Immaculate in Nelson, B.C. was smeared with orange paint. The cathedral displays an excellence in Roman classicism architecture despite being made out of wood.

26/ St. Columba Anglican Church in Tofino, B.C. was damaged by fire on July 1st.

The church was constructed in 1913 and has served the town of Tofino for over a century.

27/ On July 1st, Our Lady Queen of Poland, a Polish-English bilingual parish in Edmonton, was vandalized with red paint.

28/ Also on July 1st, the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate had red paint smeared on its stairs.

The parish has a nearly 200-year history and is a very majestic church in downtown Guelph, Ontario

29/ The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in St. John's, Newfoundland was also smeared with paint on July 1st.

The parish has a lengthy history dating all the way back to 1699 (!) and is an important landmark in the city.

30/ On July 2nd, the First Hamilton Christian Reformed Church in Hamilton, Ontario had paint smeared on its steps.

31/ St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories was vandalized with paint on July 2.

A local councilor had this to say: "It was built by Aboriginal people and that's the part of the history that I see in our community..."

32/ A different St. Joseph's Catholic Church, this time in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, had paint smeared on its doors on July 2.

Unfortunately, reports like these have been getting zero media attention.

33/ On July 3, Molotov Cocktails were thrown through the windows of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Peace River, Alberta. The fire was extinguish without causing major damage.

34/ On July 3, there was an attempt to remove a statue of St. Francis at St. Peter and Paul Anglican Church in Victoria, B.C. The church's door was also damaged.

35/ On July 4, two churches in Brandon. Manitoba were the target of graffiti.

St. Matthew's Anglican Church was built to English Gothic Revival style, and First Presbyterian Church was constructed in 1928, consisting of red brick and white stone.

36/ On July 4, the House of Prayer Alliance in Calgary, which has congregations of Vietnamese and Filipino-Canadians, was damaged by a suspected arsonist.

37/ The Angus Bonner Memorial United Church was completely destroyed by fire on July 4. It was located in South Indian Lake, Manitoba.

38/ On July 5, Johnsfield Baptist Church was damaged by a small fire on its roof. It is located on a First Nations reserve in Ontario.

39/ On July 8, the historic Holy Trinity Catholic Church was burned to the ground.

It served a Polish community near Redberry Lake in Saskatchewan. A plaque states that it was built in 1909, but hasn't been used as a religious building for 40 years.

40/ On July 9, an arsonist set the abandoned Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Kehewin, Alberta ablaze. It was sadly destroyed by the fire.

It was built in 1984 and was temporarily abandoned in 2019 due to mold and dampness issues.

41/ The garage of Grace Lutheran Church in Kelowna, B.C. was suspiciously damaged by fire on July 9th.

43/ The Mount Tzouhalem Cross on Vancouver Island was cut down, likely by someone using a grinder, around July 12.

The cross was put up in 1976 in scenic Mt. Tzouhalem. It has been the victim of a vandalism over the years.

44/ On July 19, the St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Surrey, B.C. was destroyed by a suspicious fire. The church was built in 1960.

45/ On July 21, a suspected arsonist targeted Central Heights Church in Abbotsford, Alberta. A small fire was extinguished.

46/ On July 22, it was reported that the Vancouver Police is investigating 13 incidents of mischief/vandalism that occurred at Vancouver churches this summer. Only several of these churches are mentioned in this thread. The others have not been named.
