Contract doctors at Hospital Sungai Buloh have started walking out, @HarizMohd_MKini reports.

Hospital Melaka, @sinarharianSH reports staff dressed in black gathered in the carpark.

This was the scene at H Sg Buloh, where Covid-19 patients hv been treated since the start of the pandemic.

They were silent as they walked out in single file.

@HarizMohd_MKini said cops barred some from speaking to media.

In MAEPS, @kinitv 's Daniel Anthony reports doctors there cancelled the proposed walkout when threatened with police arrest.

@fionyap130 reported about 50 joined #HartalDoktorKontrak. The walkout and gathering lasted 8 mins before told to disperse by Dang Wangi police.

About 30 cops present. Suhakam also there.

In Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor, medics told @hmetromy they are participating on #HartalDoktorKontrak during their break. About 30 doctors participated.

This comes as concerns are raised that the walkout would jeopardise patient care.

Dr Omar Izmir (H Shah Alam) has been w KKM for 5 yrs & remains loyal. In a moving speech, he says they just want to be appreciated.

Half in H Shah Alam are contract doctors, he said.

In H Pulau Pinang, this doctor, who works in the Covid-19 wards says #HartalDoktorKontrak does not hurt patients as those who joined are on their off days or have handed over duties.

So far, I have shared images of doctors in KL, Selangor, Putrajaya, Penang, Pahang, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Johor and Sabah participating.

JUST IN: Dang Wangi police are investigating #HartalDoktorKontrak for violation of MCO restrictions against any sort of gatherings.

Dang Wangi police personnel were earlier spotted at the Hospital Kuala Lumpur walkout.
