We have set up to live-tweet Dr Helen Webberley’s MPTS hearing. It started on Monday 26 July and is due to run for 55 days.
The way MPTS hearings work is that the GMC allegations are presented first and the tribunal members make a decision as to which of the allegations have been proven.
Dr Webberley's legal team will then have the opportunity to present her case. Then the tribunal panel will consider the evidence before them and make a decision as to whether her fitness to practice is impaired.
We will be tweeting facts not opinion. Please follow us to stay abreast of the hearing.

Hello, welcome back to Day 2 of Dr Webberley's hearing. Proceedings are due to start at 10.30am.
Dr Webberley's (Dr W) counsel is Mr Ian Stern, QC (IS) and the GMC counsel is Mr Simon Jackson, QC (SJ).
The Tribunal Panel consists of a legally qualified Chair, a medical professional, and a lay member. We are expecting the panel to make an announcement on the contested evidence submitted by the defense yesterday, as to if it is admissable or not.
We've been informed that the proceedings will not begin until 11.30. We've not been told why. See you back here at 11.30.
