Sobrang gulong gulong gulo na talaga ako sa vaccine-related policies and policy suggestions. Like they don't even sound logical to me. So here is how I understand it:
1. Vaccines are limited in supply. Why "punish" or isolate people for something that's out of their control?
2. Since vaccines are limited, government has understandably decided to prioritize the most vulnerable. Healthcare workers, seniors, and people with co-morbidities.
3. Getting vaccinated doesn't mean you won't ever get COVID, but it gives high assurances you won't die from it.
4. Getting vaccinated only protects the vaccinee, which means they are still a danger to those who are not vaccinated as they can be potential carriers of the virus.
5. Vaccination for A4 or other workers started but majority of those jabbed are still those in A3 and up
6. Why is leisure travel is being promoted to vaccinated people if majority of those vaccinated are considered vulnerable?
7. Why open travel without directing vaccine supply to locals who work in the tourism industry first? They are not protected even if tourist is vaccinated.
8. Why would you suggest a "lockdown" of just the unvaccinated when that would mean those who were considered vulnerable enough to receive the vaccinations early - including seniors - are the ones who will have to go out for essentials?
May disconnect talaga for me ang policies.
