THREAD: Evan Neumann of Mill Valley, CA, who is wanted on charges of assault & disorderly conduct at the US Capitol on Jan. 6, remains at large. /1
Neumann is accused of punching a Metropolitan DC police officer & striking officers w/ a barricade, while accusing them of "defending the people who are going to kill your f***ing children." /2
Neumann was charged on March 23. Five weeks earlier, FBI agents followed Neumann from his home in Mill Valley to the international terminal at San Francisco International Airport, but he declined to answer questions about whether he physically engaged with law enforcement. /3
Prosecutors moved to unseal his warrant on June 25, writing that "the government has reason to believe that Mr. Neumann is already aware that he is being investigated in relation to the January 6, 2021 US Capitol riot, and is actively attempting to evade arrest." /4
One interesting detail from charging docs in Evan Neumann's case: His LinkedIn profile shows that he attended the Ukrainian Orange Revolution in 2004 and 2005, & he was wearing a scarf to commemorate the Orange Revolution during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. /5
.@BobWeir: Can you retweet this for your neighbors in Mill Valley & the greater Bay Area? And thank you for ensuring that the music never stopped!

EXCLUSIVE: I’ve got a big story for you about a national network of neo-Nazi teenagers engaged in a multi-state campaign to terrorize Jews, Black people and LGBTQ+ folks.
Blood and Soil Crew first came across my radar while combing Terrorgram channels where users celebrated the electrical substation attack in Moore County, NC.
At the time, harassment of drag shows by an array of far-right actors was mounting. /2
Aaron Alligood, a 2119 member from Georgia who bragged about his involvement in the group on Terrorgram, said the FBI seized his electronic devices after his friend Brian Tierney was arrested for his part in a white supremacist bank robbery conspiracy. /3 justice.gov/usao-ndny/pr/t…
REVEALED: @RawStory has identified the Nazi wearing a shirt celebrating the Einsatzgruppen death squad outside a drag story hour in NC last month.
He's Jarrett Smith, who served a prison sentence for distributing bomb-making instructions online. /1 rawstory.com/raw-investigat…
Smith coordinated on Telegram to meet up with five other men active in neo-Nazi organizing, most of whom wore matching skull masks, before marching to the protest outside a yoga center in Sanford, NC on Oct. 15. /2
When they arrived at the anti-LGBTQ protest, Jarrett Smith and his crew connected with Jere Brower, a #Jan6th defendant who was involved with Aryan Nations 20 years ago. /3
EXCLUSIVE: Court docs reviewed by @RawStory show the government saying investigators found "what appeared to be classified material" on a hard drive owned by Marine Corps veteran Jordan Duncan, who was allegedly involved in a neo-Nazi terror plot. /1 rawstory.com/raw-investigat…
Duncan has been jailed since October 2020 on a host of charges in which the government alleges that he and 4 codefendants conspired "to attack the power grid" to provide cover for an assassination campaign against BLM founders and Democratic pols. /2 rawstory.com/power-grid/
To be clear, the government hasn’t described the contents of the materials that are alleged to be classified, or disclosed the outcome of a review dating back to January 2021 to determine whether there were violations of two federal laws related to classified materials. /3
EXCLUSIVE: Police pulled over a carload of neo-Nazis following a protest against a drag show in Cookeville, TN, but let them go w/out charging a man w/ a pistol strapped to his hip who threw admitted to throwing a stink bomb at counter-protesters /1 rawstory.com/raw-investigat…
The driver of the vehicle, Sean Kauffmann, is a notorious white supremacist who has promoted mass shootings, advocated for rape & communicated w/ convicted terrorist Jarrett William Smith (H/T @gwensnyderPHL). But the lead officer concluded that Kauffmann didn't want violence. /2
While the officer who initiated the stop learned from dispatch that the occupants of the vehicle were part of a "terroristic group," he was apparently unaware that they were neo-Nazis or members of a group called Tennessee Active Club. /3
NEW: I went to DC on 12/12/20 to track the Proud Boys, but the most interesting & complicated person I found was Ali Alexander.
He built the infrastructure for protest movement that brought hundreds of thousands of rage-filled Trump supporters to DC. /1 rawstory.com/raw-investigat…
Alexander has hedged some of his provocative rhetoric by saying that he's "prone to hyperbole, exaggeration and victory laps."
But he's on record as saying, "I started a riot for the sitting president of the United States." /2
Among the revelations from the January 6th Committee's recent document dump, Alexander was in a Signal chat with members of the Oath Keepers to plan for the events of Jan. 5/6.
But unlike OKs Stewart Rhodes and Kelly Meggs, it doesn't look like Alexander will go to jail. /3
Brian Gamble, QAnon promoter & Michael Flynn associate, showed up early at the barricades outside the Capitol on #Jan6th. He & friend Tim Hart were on the front lines of the group that pushed through the first police line /1 rawstory.com/brian-gamble/
Hart, who currently faces 2 felonies for his role in the Capitol attack, reported back to the Patriot Soapbox after he & Gamble returned to their hotel room on #Jan6th.
"They weren't very prepared, were they? We were like, 'Man, that looks like a weak spot there.'" /2
On Jan. 6, Brian Gamble stood on a small staircase at the Lower West Plaza w/ Proud Boy James Hoel, who was recently elected alongside Michael Flynn to serve on the Sarasota County Republican Executive Committee. It is unclear whether Gamble & Hoel knew each other at the time. /3
