1) about 100+ are srisailam forest breed its milk has medicinal values but produce milk sufficient for their calves,

@rva_sharma @TigerRajaSingh 2) about 100+ are old cows purchased by us, to start gowshala, which were past their "productive life" in dairy terms, and inevitably would have gone to slaughter,

3) about 150+ are nandis and calves, so nothing to explain here in "dairy terms"

and the other half are milked after calve having it's rightful share of its mother's milk, after that,
only 15 to 20 litres is generated,
Milk for 20+ staff some couples with their kids,

cost of maintenance is 45k per day,
REASONS:
1) 600 kgs cattle feed of khalli, chunni and boosa fed as break fast to all without differentiating, costs 17k, contd..,

Because of cattle feed cows get nutrition and extended healthy life,
Actually what people do is, they differentiate and give cattle feed to only milk yielding Cows and leave all other gowvansh malnourished,
We consider this kind of differentiation a SIN

@rva_sharma @TigerRajaSingh 2) we feed green grass to gowmatas all 365 days,
Without discrimination between gowvansh,
irrespective of the seasons, we make sure to procure green grass about 5000 kgs per day which costs 18k per day,

in most places only dry grass is fed.
That's all nothing else,
Why on earth should we have gowshalas, If we have to discriminate between gowvansh,
It should ideally be called a heartless devotion less commercial DAIRY

@rva_sharma @TigerRajaSingh At kamadhenu gowshala gowmatas are looked after as goddesses,
Which requires lot of staff,
salaries and staff kitchen cost 3 lakhs per month, 10k per day

a) Daily brushing to relive itches
b) weekly or fortnightly bath
c) soaking cattle feed & serving it next day to each cow

AS FAR AS WE CAN UNDERSTAND,

ONE CAN EITHER BE A COMMERCIAL DAIRY
OR
A DEVOUT GOWSHALA WHERE GOWMATAS ARE LOOKED AFTER AS GODDESSES,

WE CHOSE THE LATER 🙏.

If any gowbhakt is willing to take initiative to create gow products,
