Pendency at IPR has come down drastically. The work for clearing applications of getting patents is expedited, which earlier used to take years. It has also been decided that any pending application to be completed within days and not months

It has been decided to reduce the filing fees (Patents) by 80% for #StartUps, MSMEs, women entrepreneurs from the earlier 60,000 to 8000 now. This will ease the burden
