Thread of U.S. POLITICIANS who have questioned the official narrative of 9/11. Feel free to drop examples below (ideally with quotation and link).
SEN. BOB GRAHAM: "I no longer use the words cover up...I find more accurate the words aggressive deception. The federal government has attempted to rewrite the narrative of 9/11 in order to exclude the role of the Saudis from that horrific story." therealnews.com/sen-bob-graham…
SEN. BOB KERREY: "'There's reason now to suspect that we [the 9/11 Commission] may have gotten some of the details wrong' about the 9/11 plot and about Al Qaeda." newsweek.com/911-commission…
Starting a thread of prominent people who've questioned the official 9/11 narrative. Starting off with some global leaders/politicians before moving onto US officials, journalists, academics, etc. Feel free to drop examples below. (h/t @petercastagno_ for several of these.)
HUGO CHAVEZ: "The hypothesis that is gaining strength...is that it was the same U.S. imperial power that planned and carried out this terrible terrorist attack [9/11] or act against its own people and against citizens of all over the world." web.archive.org/web/2007063015…
NICOLAS MADURO: "It's really worrisome to think that all of that could have been a great conspiracy against humanity. An independent international investigation must be carried out one day to discover the truth about the events of Sept. 11." web.archive.org/web/2007063015…
In this 2006 talk, William Pepper says that he met with then Nicolas Maduro (at the time Chavez's new Foreign Affairs Minister) and found that he had a major interest in 9/11 truth and one of the largest 9/11 libraries in the world. soundcloud.com/guns-and-butte…
Pepper also says Maduro met with some 9/11 Truth people and that we'd be hearing more from him on this subject, which AFAICT never happened? Did a few searches for info on Maduro & 9/11 and didn't really come up with anything.
Of course I should've searched History Commons! Through HC, I found Maduro in Sept. 2006 calling for an international 9/11 investigation and saying "It's really worrisome to think that all of that could have been a great conspiracy against humanity." web.archive.org/web/2007063015…
In 2020 alone, USAID funded "civil society" orgs in Cuba to the tune of $2.5M (likely much more). Some of this $ went to the International Republican Institute, which has tried (and sometimes succeeded) to foment coups in Haiti, Venezuela & Cambodia. cubamoneyproject.com/2020-cuba-proj…
Note that this is only a partial report for 2020. Under Trump, there were huge outlays of USAID cash to IRI for activity like "civic participation" and "humanitarian assistance."
This is significant because IRI is well-known to forcefully back opposition parties. In 2002-03, IRI hired a virulently anti-Aristide officer to train 600 Haitian leaders, many of whom worked with armed militias to topple Aristide in 2004. motherjones.com/politics/2004/…
Over the weekend, Alina Chan suggested I should request a check from the Chinese government for tweeting criticism of her. I'd tell her to ask the Pentagon for some cash, but she's already got that covered 😉
Why is the Pentagon interested in human artificial chromosomes? One goal is to "engineer much more complex functionalities into human cell lines than are currently possible," apparently by adding a 47th chromosome into human DNA. (Krishnan, "Military Neuroscience...")
DARPA is reportedly interested in genetic engineering in order to create "super soldiers" with enhanced capabilities. As should be obvious, if HACs can be used to enhance humans, they can just as easily—actually much more easily—be weaponized against them. wired.com/2012/12/andrew…
In 2016, Harvard hosted a secretive meeting to organize a controversial project: synthesizing an entire human genome in the lab. A month later, the project was publicly announced, and who was doing the key research? Lab-origin superstar Alina Chan. statnews.com/2016/06/02/syn…
This project received widespread criticism, both for the secrecy of the meeting and the lack of attention to ethics. It was criticized in WaPo and the NY Times. Biologist Drew Endy refused to participate. Genetic Literacy Project has a good roundup 👇 geneticliteracyproject.org/2016/05/16/har…
The meeting was organized by Harvard biologist George Church, who helped developed genome sequencing and co-created the gene editing technique CRISPR. For years, he also enjoyed numerous meetings and phone calls with eugenics aficionado Jeffrey Epstein. statnews.com/2019/08/05/cit…
