Unironically the elites do fear everyone lifting weights and sunning their balls, which I will demonstrate in this thread 1/13
The elite agenda atm is openly the "Great Reset," which aims to create new frontiers of financialization and virtualization, alongside ironclad mechanisms of population control through a digital/medical ID system and eventually a kind of bio-digital convergence. 2/13
These objectives reinforce each other in a vicious circle. What the elites DO NOT want is activity that disrupts these objectives, or the ways they synergize. Hence the push for masks, lockdowns, virtual meetings, e-sports, which drive people online and also destroy the body 3/13
The "meme" way of expressing this agenda is "live in the pod and eat bugs," which BAP has long called attention to. This agenda, however, is deeply unnatural and at odds with human needs for athleticism, movement, embodied interaction, mindfulness/living IN the body 4/13
Indeed, the body is the site of 21st century political conflict in a way BAP recognized and discussed. This is clear is Covid Psyop, where the bodies and faces of other people are presented as an mortal threat, and the solution is end of bodily autonomy. 5/13
Clear correlation between weightlifting and resistance to this Psyop. At gym, everyone hates masks and does not want vaccine. Recall in NYC, govt gyms allowed to state open for city employees b/c "necessary" for their funtioning, other gyms closed. 6/13
BAP say how in ancient Greece, slaves not allowed to use gym. We now see this truth in our society. Gyms are site of camaraderie, movement, aggression, play, joy. 7/13
These activities conform to Lasch's discussion of how to resist modern politics of narcissism in The Minimal Self. His answer, Aristotelian concept of practice, which in modern world analogous to "play." 8/13
Lasch say "The highest form of practice...is politics, which seeks to promote the good life by conferring equal rights...and by establishing rules and conventions designed not...to solve the problems of social living... 9/13
as to encourage citizens to test themselves against demanding standards of moral excellence (for example, in contests of oratorical skill and physical prowess)"

What is a better example of this than weightlifting in gym?! Competing with friends, living in present 10/13
This is a much more advanced form of politics, if you care to call it that, than voting and "getting organized" and other BS, which clearly does not work. More voting now than ever, what has this done? 11/13
Meanwhile, ability to move, physical strength, embodied community in decline as elites are ascendant. Is this an accident? No! These things are most critical way to resist bio-totaliarian narcissism agenda advanced by elites. 12/13
BAP (others too) was inspiring so many people to take up a better way of life, a way of life totally at odds with elite agenda. This is why he was banned, and yes the elites fear this.

In 21st century, getting together with friends and competing to sun balls IS politics 13/13
