2020. Pandemic year. Highly uncertain for economy. Many biz-houses slowed/shut except a few cash-rich ones. Sood, never projected as a businessman, exploited his "philanthropist" brand value, backed by heavy PR, launched not just 1-2 but 8 new ventures in the span of a year.

Between Nov19-Dec20, Sood & co. paid INR60Cr cap (registered). Interestingly, one of them is a real estate venture Omsai Homes LLP of (53Cr) & 70% (37Cr) infused by Anil Kr Singh, a top bizman, associated with Samajwadi Party & have been once advisor of then CM Akhilesh Yadav.

During the migrant crisis, Sood came up with 'Pravasi Rojgar' with lots of band-baja through Sood Infotech Pvt Ltd. Within 4 months a Singapore-based investment co. TEMASEK infused INR 250 Cr & then he seemingly soft exited from business.

a. 31Mar20: GoodWorker Pvt Ltd established
b. 23Jul20: Sood launched Pravasi Rojgar
c. 27Jul20: PR work
d. 02&20Aug'20: GW & Sood endorsed eachother
e. 26Nov20: GW made JV with Pravasi Rojgar (almost took over) with whooping Rs. 250Cr,

..bringing Sonali Sood as proxy BoD, can be seen at last of the list without any introduction link at GW website.
So, within 8 months a seemingly pre-staged biz-deal executed well as ‘philanthropist’ activity.

Similarly for his 'Zero investment scheme,' is nothing but a business deal with Spice Digital Ltd through Sood Informatics LLP, by subscribing for 8.69 lakh shares of SGL (approx 2% of total cap).

For real estate adventures, Sood is a 'habitual offender' as per BMC for illegal construction. Notices remain unheard, for instance, a residential building converted into a hotel without permission. However, seems every time someone saves him from stern action from BMC.

Maybe in the future, his disciple from free IAS/CA coaching would be able to help him in better planning. Btw, while writing this thread Sood came up with a new Travel co. & Im sure by the time you would read it, one more would be launching.

Be it illegal construction or drug hoarding charges, Sood knows his business model well & continues to exploit it through heavy PR that fits for a wide audience, including the Sports ministry that shocked many by promoting Sood as brand ambassador for Spl. Olympics'22.

This thread doesn't question anyone's money-making ability but shows the holistic insight of PR, 'violated' crowdfunding & business trails camouflaged as 'philanthropist Messiah' & THAT IS UNJUST WITH REAL UNSUNG HEROS.
