‼️‼️ SCAM WARNING ‼️‼️

I want to warn all rescues, adopters or fosters of a lady I know as Jill Kaptur. Months ago, she contacted @Yasmin_theCat on Twitter saying that she wanted to sponsor a rescue to save the dogs below from Corpus Christi Animal Shelter.

She eventually persuaded Forgotten Coast Animal Rescue to rescue them as she promised that she would pay all boarding, transport and vets bills for all three.

As soon as they were tagged, she withdrew all her offers of funding & sponsorship & abandoned them.

She stopped answering calls, messages and emails. She has NEVER PAID A SINGLE CENT FOR TURTLE, BO OR ATHENA. EVER.

Without funding from Twitter, @AndyWeprin and Sarah Ibison from the rescue who knows what would have happened to them!

Please, please if Jill Kaptur ever approaches anyone, do not believe her lies! She offers hundreds of dollars but backs out when she has to deliver on those promises 🤬

She still owes over $1000 in pledges to other dogs that were on the urgent list at Corpus Christi.

We know, we will never see that money but I don't want any other dogs to suffer because of her lies.

Turtle (black&white dog) & Bo (tan dog) have been waiting while Sarah & Andrew try to help them find a furever family. Luckily, a family in NYC adopted Athena quite quickly.

Because of Jill, Turtle and Bo have been in boarding since 06/29‼️‼️
