I’m excited for the academic year to start and I’m glad CUNY is mandating vaccines. College students have died of COVID and students who cluster in campuses can bring COVID back to family and friends. With the new surge this is one way to keep people safe. 
This being said, many people are still afraid of being vaccinated. My inbox is open if you have questions.

2. People talk
3. You will likely be expelled if found out
4. Your tuition will not be refunded
5. Medically frail people are on campus
6. Despite breakthrough cases in vaccinated people, the vast majority occur in unvaccinated people.

If people you follow make frightening claims about the vaccine, ask them for the study that supports that claim.
If they use VAERS data ask why they use unverified instead of verified data.
If their views differ from their peers, ask for even MORE proof of their beliefs.

When one goes against the majority opinion the burden is on them to have robust data to support their fringe view. So, hold them accountable and demand this of them.
