(3/13) of @femaregion2 in @DHSgov; John A. Miller, Mitigation Liaison of @fema Region II; Reverend José Rodríguez, Sr. of the Iglesia Pentecostal AD-Trenton; and Reverend José Rodríguez, Jr. of the The Rodriguez Family Foundation.

(4/13) @AmeriCorps Team Earth 3 — comprised of Team Leader Mallory Fahey, Bailey Crowley, Bernadette Crehan, Ethan Buttery, Jeremy Shaban, Carlton Berthold, Graham Bellairs, Zoe Phillips, Kevin Zhang, and Kiera Williams — worked together with Doug; John; the Rodríguezes; and

(5/13) state, county, and local partners to administer 7,328 vaccines against COVID-19 in Trenton. In ensuring the success of community vaccination efforts against COVID-19 in Atlantic City, Trenton, and Camden, AmeriCorp Team Earth 3 likely saved the lives of thousands of

(6/13) New Jerseyans and brought us closer to achieving @GovMurphy 's goal of fully immunizing 4.7 million people by June 30, 2021. The collaboration between FEMA and AmeriCorps Team Earth 3, both of which were best-equipped to handle the logistical challenges of executing these

(7/13) crucial public-health events; @NJGov, under the leadership of @GovMurphy and Judith M. Persichilli, Commissioner of @NJDeptofHealth; the County of Mercer, under the leadership of County Executive @BrianMHughes and Kristin Reed of the Division of Public Health;

(8/13) @CityofTrentonNJ, under the leadership of @gusciora and Dr. Adela M. Ames-Lopez of the Health and Human Services Department; and the Reverends José Rodríguez, Sr. and José Rodríguez, Jr. —

(9/13) whose nourishment of the souls of their parishioners gave comfort and assurance to members of the community who availed themselves of the vaccination program — is a testament to the strength and resolve of all New Jerseyans and all Americans and should serve as a model for

(10/13) future community vaccination efforts that we may need to organize. As a token of our sincere thanks, each member of Team Earth 3 will receive by mail a copy of the joint ceremonial resolution, each of which is affixed with the seals of the New Jersey Senate and

(11/13) General Assembly and the signatures of Senate President Steve Sweeney and Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin. I have also introduced Assembly Resolution 267, which likewise recognizes the efforts of AmeriCorp Team Earth 3 in assisting the Atlantic City, Trenton, and Camden

(12/13) community vaccination efforts against COVID-19, and will request that it be considered in due time before the Assembly Health Committee and subsequently before the General Assembly.
