Recap 10/08/2021
[1] I want to start today's recap with a disclaimer that I am not involved in any project, all data shown is to the best of my ability at the time of drafting, and non of this should be used as financial advice.
[2] Projects above the blue line have not been updated. Their next update will be 1 week after their Mint Date.
The biggest news of today is, without a doubt, @queenship_. I was at work while the story unfolded (I actually had the mint page open waiting when the drama exploded)
@queenship_ [3] I'm a lawyer by day so I believe in due process and and innocence until proven guilty. I won't comment on the strength of the claims against the project but this whole project is about the correlation between the success of a project and the strength of its community
@queenship_ [4] I think the floor price and number of unique owners for @queenship_ speaks for itself re what happens when the community no longer believes / trusts the dev team. Shame what happened, but perhaps this can be a lesson for other teams going forward. I agree with @Zeneca_33
@queenship_@Zeneca_33 [5] in that if you're using a specific race/gender/community to garner the attention and interest of the people from that group - you owe a degree of transparency to those people.
Moving on, @fvckrenderverse had explosive success on their launch despite their high mint price
@fvckrenderverse [6] (I wonder who predicted this...) Congrats to all those that minted and are now in profit. I think @fvckrender and @beaniemaxi (with @punkscomic) are doing something quite similar - building on the community that supports them and continuing to offer value and commitment to
@fvckrenderverse@fvckrender@beaniemaxi@punkscomic [7] to those that not only mint, but hold. I set my alarm for this one (was at 5am our time), was a couple minutes late, and by that time everything was minted.
[8] @GlueFactoryShow is in the red but its Twitter and Discord increase is on par with @SpacePoggersNFT day 1 and @fvckrenderverse - its also got a higher number of unique owners than both. It may be in the red but I wouldn't be surprised if the floor creeps up over the
@GlueFactoryShow@SpacePoggersNFT@fvckrenderverse@blockfaces [10] Concluding notes - @alphabettyNFT is surprising me. It had been stagnant in the two days post mint. But it almost doubled it social following today, along with an increase in 1200 unique owners and 82.3E in volume. I might pick a couple up at the floor price just to see.
[11] I know everyone enjoys my daily recaps a lot less than my upcoming posts but I like doing these so bl😄😄
Upcoming Drops for 11/08/2021 will be coming in at around 9pm AEST tonight. Enjoy!

Upcoming 13/08/2021
[1] Hellllloo everyone
We have 4 projects dropping over the course of tomorrow and 1 with a surprise drop date/time.
I've taken some feedback onboard and have inserted a new 'Stars' column. The stars are out of 5 and reflect my feelings on the project.
[2] My feelings encompass both how bullish I am on it and how much I like it. If I'm bullish + like the project, then 5 stars. If I'm bullish but am a bit meh then less. Like everything else I do - its not an exact science but I hope it can provide some guidance.
[3] I'll start off quickly with @BullieverIsland and @TheBirdHouseNFT. I don't have too strong feelings about either of these projects - except that both seem to have a bit of a disparity between their Twitter and Discord numbers. I haven't visited either of their Discords so I
I know the day isn't over yet - but I'm doing my recap now with information that was captured a couple hours ago.
Over the course of last night / this morning - we had 6 projects drop. The left column seems to show that 5 of the 6 are in the green
[2] but don't be deceived. The projects with the red box have close to 0 volume. Their floor price has little to no value on the performance of the project. In reality, the only drop that performed well this morning was @JunkyardDogsNFT. I don't think this was that surprising to
[3] many people as this drop had a fair amount of hype/anticipation in its lead up.
For our two gaming NFTs @GoGalaGames's Vox and @AradenaWarrior - we're seeing a slow down in price while its unique owners, volume and average following are still increasing. I would say that
Late post today (was a bit hectic) but I am here now. Didn't have time today to do the 'Significant Twitter Followers' column - but also I'm still trying to figure out how I want to tweak it moving forward. Any suggestions would be greatly
[2] appreciated.
On tonight's list we have 5 projects coming out tomorrow. I'm probably only going to address three properly - @AIA_NFT and @tarfishnft just don't excite me that much. In particular the former has too big of a difference between twitter and discord numbers for
@AIA_NFT [3] me to believe that there's big community supporting the project. The latter just doesn't interest me too much - but I've been wrong before.
Recap 11/08/2021
[1] I had a bit of spare time so today's recap is coming in a bit earlier
Projects above the blue line have not been updated, their next update will come 1 week after their Mint Date
@NinjaVillageNFT - I think it's safe to say at this point that this project
@NinjaVillageNFT [2] isn't going anywhere (RIP my 5 mints). It's a shame because I was/still am a big fan of Naruto and I thought that there would be a good niche for anime fans to ape into this project. Perhaps I should've known better - the following behind this project wasn't anything
[3] significant and the artwork could definitely do with some improvement. Well, we live and we learn. I would still be interested in a new project that comes in to try and capitalise on this niche. But in order for @NinjaVillageNFT to turn anything around, I would need to see a
I'm about 4 beers deep after a long day of work so let's see where this goes.
People have been asking how the 'Significant Twitter Followers Number' metric works - and the answer is, it doesn't really.
[2] by itself, the metric is probably as arbitrary as it could be. I will probably fiddle with how it works in the days to come - but right now, it's just me scrolling the project's twitter followers and identify accounts that are have (1) 2K+ followers; and (2) the accounts are
[3] followed by people that I trust / also follow. This is only my third day doing this so expect changes to come! If anything, the metric just adds colour to the other numbers.
