North german centre for sustainable construction in Verden, Germany #NZNB. Highest directly plastered straw insulated building finished already in 2014. We prefabricated straw modules on site in what is now my workplace, a former tank service hall where we show how to do it.

Craig White @TweetEco from @agile_homes presented a very intriguing concept for small #straw insulated modules that can be upscaled via "flying factories". The modules can be placed on top of existing buildings.
BTW, this is how it startet in Verden, where we built the 5-storey #Straw house later. This one is made by volunteers, free-hand with clay-plaster on the outside. Its comfy inside in summer and winter, had many meetings there. It shows that you can get very far with some effort.
But you may say, ok - isn't this still conventional and with avoidable emissions?
