At a time when more big revelations are being promised about alleged election fraud or wrongdoing in 2020, a reminder of some other “big revelations” to date:

We have consistently refuted falsehoods with facts, but misinformation spreads faster & more widely than truth. Sometimes during public hearings or staged events. Nearly non-stop on social media. Often by people w/limited knowledge of election laws, procedures, or best practices.

Take Cyber Ninjas and subcontractors, for example. What they’re saying can sound plausible to people unfamiliar with election operations. Like the false statement below about the 74K “phantom ballots.”

People with Arizona election knowledge understand the purpose of the EV 32 and EV 33 files and how to use them.
Cyber Ninjas made faulty assumptions about the files that led to wrong conclusions. Their misinformation has been thoroughly debunked. abc15.com/news/region-ph…

Similarly, calls to “get the routers” are misleading. They assume routers will prove something they can’t possibly prove since Maricopa County routers are not connected to Maricopa County’s election system and Maricopa County’s election system is not connected to the internet.

As the Bowyer v. Ducey case judge wrote, claims of election fraud in AZ are "sorely wanting of relevant or reliable evidence…Allegations that find favor in the public sphere of gossip and innuendo cannot by a substitute for earnest pleadings and procedure in federal court.”

While fighting misinformation can feel like a game of whack-a-mole that no one ever wins, we can try to get the truth to more places.

Maricopa County ran free and fair elections using proven processes and equipment. We have the checks and balances in place to prove it. The hand counts and L&A tests to prove it. Two independent audits to prove it. The court rulings to prove it.
