Ok, so I planned to do this a lot sooner but I've been incredibly busy lately. Anyway, here's my review of #FearStreet Part 2: 1978. (1/8)
I planned to watch this movie a week after I watched the first, however it ended up being longer than that. When I did get around to watching it, the movie did a pretty good job of reminding me what went down. (2/8)
My favorite thing about this film, and really the trilogy in general, is how it's going further and further back in time with the more we learn about what's going on in Shadyside. Usually movies do this in the opposite way, but the way Fear Street does it is pretty cool. (3/8)
I also like how the second film in the series expanded what we already knew. It gave us more background on things we'd heard about and featured the young versions of some of the characters we'd seen in Part 1. This made it feel connected, even in a different time period. (4/8)
One thing I thought I'd enjoy more about this movie was the camp theme. One camps with two rival towns seemed like a cool dynamic, but I never really ended up feeling it. It kind of fell flat, in my opinion. (5/8)
I liked the character development in this movie. The characters and their personalities changed along with the events of the movie, which made it seem more realistic. (6/8)
The things I didn't like about the film were that it was shallow and predictable. There was nothing in the movie to really make it stand out from other horror films and make it unique. Also, some of the reveals such as C. Berman being Ziggy and not Cindy were obvious. (7/8)
A lot of people say this sequel was better than the first film, but personally I'm not quite sure. Some aspects are definitely better, but I'm not convinced that it's enough to say that this film is the superior one overall. (8/8)
Overall, I would give #FearStreet1978 a 7/10. #JuicinessScale Image

Haven't done any movie reviews for a while but I just got back from watching #ThorLoveAndThunder , so I thought I'd share what I thought about it. Spoilers follow❗️
Initially, I wasn't really sure what I felt about this movie. It definitely had some really great moments and was an extremely fun and silly film that also touched on some deep subjects, however briefly.
That balance of silly and deep felt a little shakier than it did in the previously installment, though. Thor: Ragnarok is one of my favorite MCU movies and a definite improvement over both its predecessors.

DC's newest film, #TheSuicideSquad, is now finally out. Here are my thoughts on the movie. Spoilers follow ❗️ (1/17)
I saw this movie on August 6, the day it came out. I was pretty excited to see what the Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn would do with a team of unknown villains this time rather than heroes, and I wasn't disappointed. (2/17)
Just like in the Guardians movie, Gunn managed to put together a collection of very different people and focus them on one common goal. The difference in this movie was that he had much more freedom and could make it focused toward mature audiences. (3/17)

If you didn't know, @MNightShyamalan's newest movie just hit theaters a couple of days ago. Here's what I thought about #OldTheMovie. Be advised: spoilers follow❗️ (1/12)
Okay, so there's a lot to unpack with this film. To start off with, I'll talk about the things I liked in this movie. For one, it was very original, as many of Shyamalan's movies are. I also liked the principle idea of being stranded on an island while aging constantly. (2/12)
This movie had an excellent plot and a decent cast, too. The cinematography is absolutely beautiful. The concept is all there as a foundation for a great movie. However, when you dive into things this movie starts to fall short of expectations a little. (3/12)

Okay, so the first movie I'm going to be talking about on this Twitter page is #BlackWidow. I saw this movie a little more than a week ago in theaters, and to say the least my expectations were exceeded. (1/11)
After the events of Avengers: Endgame, a movie about Black Widow seemed a little odd, if not unnecessary. When it was announced that this project would be a prequel, I think everyone lost a little bit of excitement for it. I know I did. (2/11)
I personally thought that this film wouldn't really have anything much to add to the MCU, and would just be another story about an action hero kicking butt. There was lots of that, of course, but the movie turned out to be so much more than that. (3/11)
