As we approach the 20th anniv of #9/11, I’m struck how we worried Muslim suicide bombers would strike at schools, restaurants, malls, planes, and wherever we gather. Now we avoid those places bc ppl refuse to be vaccinated against a deadly virus. How isn’t that terrorism?
Terrorism seeks to coerce or intimidate people, beyond those it just targets w violence. I remember how after Sept 11th, every media organization deep-dived into Islam,
Muslim society, and, of course, creeping Sharia Law. Every brown person felt the sting of “is he good Arab?”
But we’re not allowed to look at WHY these people seek to terrorize us. Nor are we even allowed to say they are terrorists. So I guess the lesson of 9-11 was do as I say, not as I do.

Years ago at ONI we would do an annual order of battle assessment for a certain country’s Navy. On books they had an impressive force, constantly training. Truth was, senior officers just submitted pay chits and collected salaries for non-existent sailors. telegraph.co.uk/world-news/202…
Their hulls were rusting and in disrepair. But on paper, they looked capable. It was that paper that mattered, not just to us, but to a very close ally. It was disheartening to see commanders use the paper, when our intelligence suggested it was bullshit.
I never dealt with the Afghan Army directly, but I suspect that it wouldn’t have been hard for them to do the same.

I did not have that former @CIA officer ⁦@john_sipher⁩ was aligned with racist troll Louise Mensch, who for years, tried to get my security clearance revoked. But alas, here we are. And yes, ⁦@mollymckew is a fraud that he has personal ties to.
So for the millionth and one time, I found that @mollymckew had lied or misled Congress in testimony by saying she had worked for the Moldovan govt, when the Moldovans said she had not.
Sipher, who always randomly and blindly rides to her defense, fails to mention that he has ties to her and that while she lacks credentials, somebody has clearly vouched for her. Anyway here’s a few of the public Sipher-McKew collabs.

Wow. @ChiefUSAR how did you just commission, as a Major no less, a Dr into the medical corps who doesn’t believe in COVID vaccines? That would seem incompatible with service in the armed forces, especially the medical corps. Cc @RX_forLiberty
So @RX_forLiberty belongs to the same medical antivaxx group, which includes Demon Sperm lady, that claims vaccines don’t stop the spread of COVID. thedailybeast.com/the-most-dange…
He lost his hospital privies after pushing antivax conspiracy and PULLING OUT A FREAKING GUN saying “I think better than a mask — this is what I do," h/t @stevenjfrisch beckershospitalreview.com/hospital-physi…

Cliff notes: @john_sipher has been attacking me for pointing out @mollymckew mislead or lied to Congress, problem is Sipher has ties to McKew. In sum he’s personally vested in her not being a fraud.
Anyway be careful who you follow on Twitter. McKew was vouched for by somebody, and that got her positions at Georgetown, testifying in front of Congress, articles in Politico, and an appearance on PBS etc.
And for the millionth time here is how @mollymckew was described in cong testimony (having worked for the Moldovan government) vs what the Moldan govt said she had done (never worked for them).

Hey ⁦@john_sipher⁩ you seem to have a vested and personal interest in defending @mollymckew, did you vouch for her? Is that what this is about? If she’s shown to be a fraud does it impact you personally?
It’s amazing that @john_sipher is the only person defending McKew and even he can’t show a credential. I know John and Molly did a guest lecture together at Yale. Why not just come clean and admit you were wrong John? Instead of attacking me.
What is Molly’s experience actually? Why can’t you just tell us @john_sipher?

Being a man of color and AAPI in national security is a day-to-day battle with entitled white guys who want to get you to lose your cool. It’s exhausting and a constant struggle against this type of racism that demands we prove to them we deserve to be here…
I had some not-so-nice things to say to @john_sipher, but I’m channeling my father to give me strength to not act in the way he wants me to.
Cliff notes: I found that @mollymckew had said she worked for the Moldovan govt in CONGRESSIONAL testimony, but the Moldovans have no record of her working for them. This is one instance of her background that does NOT check out. John instead of providing evidence, attacked me.
