Fear of Missing Out is a social anxiety stemming from the belief that others might be having fun while the person experiencing the anxiety is not present
A desire to stay continually connected to what others are doing
Areas where F.O.M.O reflects are: 1. Social Media Anxiety
Anxiety and fear that stems from things that are seen on social media.
We must be wary of the things that take our time and attention.
2. Fear of Missing Opportunities
Because of anxiety, a lot of people have made mistakes and wrong decisions.
Let the spirit of God be your compass, so you don’t just jump into things and regret.
A lot of us want God to co-sign what we have decided instead of talking to Him before taking the decision.
Before you give in to your feelings, talk to God and ask what He would have you do.
Practical Ways To Deal With Anxiety 1. Take out the fuel
Build your discipline, take away the source directly fueling your anxiety, delete apps if necessary
2. Master Gratitude
One way that helps to master gratitude is to journal, to take accounts and count your blessings, resting assured in God’s ability to take care of your needs.
3. Preparation
Many times, anxiety stems from a place of being inadequately prepared.
Preparation cannot be overemphasized
If God has told you something about your future, it is time for you prepare while you wait for it’s manifestation.
CONFESSIONS
I declare in this month and beyond that my joy is full and overflowing
The HolyGhost in me produces supernatural joy always.
Joy above situations, Joy above circumstances
The Joy of the Lord, wells up on my inside in the name of Jesus
I have joy unspeakable and full of Glory.
I declare today that I am anxious for nothing
God gave his Son, he will freely, happily, excitedly, abundantly, give me all things
My heart is established in the word of the Lord
I am not afraid of the future.
In every circumstance, my joy is intact, my peace is intact
I rejoice because I serve the providential God
His name is Jireh
He causes water to flow out of the rock for me
He parts the seas so I can walk through on dry land
He makes my way prosperous
I declare that in this month and beyond, my eyes are open to see the revelation of Jesus
I know who he is, I know who I am because of what he has done
The spirit of Jesus, that raised him from the dead, is in me
Therefore I do the works of Jesus
And like he said, greater works shall I do
I declare that as he is, so I am in this world
His attributes are my attributes
I mirror the Intergrity of Jesus
In Devotion, In Doctrine, In Dunamis, I mirror the Intergrity of Jesus
I declare that I am full of Power
From the crown of my head to the tip of my toes
Anywhere I step into, people see it
They discern it by the contact of my eyes, by my appearance, by my words
