Dr Tess Lawrie - we don’t need the vaccines when there are safe, cheap and effective treatments for COVID19. #ivermectin costs 3 cents per pill and you need 5 pills to treat one person. It stops infection, treats C19 and reduces deaths. 1/4

HOW TO STOP WORRYING?

Three tactics to deal with worries that are outside your locus of control
1. cognitive defusion
2. scheduled worry time
3. mindfulness

(For worries that are within your locus of control, try brainstorming, problem solving, asking for advice, taking action)

1. Practice cognitive defusion

LEAVES ON A STREAM: anchor your negative thoughts on leaves and watch them pass down a stream of water

2/4
2. Schedule worry time:
Set a specific time in your schedule to worry for 15-30 minutes!! (choose a specific place for worrying)
Make a list of your worries as they arise during the day and redirect them to your scheduled worry time
This exercise helps set brain boundries. It helps your brain delay worrying and shift your attention back to what you need to do now.

I wish people would stop making ignorant comments about the Israeli-Palestinan crisis and would watch these presentations by five experts from different backgrounds shining a light on the underlying forces behind the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
1/ 🧵
Professor Richard Falk- International Law
@ 5:10
"All the evidence we have points to the fact that the October 7th Hamas attack served as a pretext for the completion of the Zionist project by the dispossession by Israelis of Palestinians living not only in Gaza but in the West Bank which has experienced unrestricted settler violence in this period and has suffered unusually severe casualties during this time."
"The claim of self-defence is particularly weak because Gaza and the West Bank are occupied territories and under the administrative responsibilities of Israel as the occupying power since 1967. Israel has not implemented the unanimous Security Council Resolution 242 back in 1967 which called upon it to withdraw to the 67 borders." Professor Richard Falk
An offender cannot claim self-defence.

The undeclared objectives of the destruction of Gaza by Professor Atif Kubursi:

1. The control of gas in the Levant Basin by Israel
2. Americans want an alternative to the Suez canal
3. Americans want an alternative to the Silk road: India-Dubai-Europe bypassing Iran, Syria and Egypt

Microsoft also has plans to transform education.
Technology is very important but how it’s used is critical.
Can parents know if their kids are doing their homework when they have to search for information on google or do their math homework online?

State medical licensing: is it needed to ensure quality or is it a means of state control?

Milton Friedman says: the Hippocratic oath was the 1st labour union agreement. He argues that labour union serve more established members of a union and controls entry of new members.
2/
For example:
In his opinion, minimum wage protects the union members from competition from the lower & lessor skilled workers (preventing their entry into the workforce & upward mobility). Such policies are done in the name of the poor but don't benefit them
