I believe Biden's perceivable weakness and the administrations inability to handle any one of our ongoing crises has given the Taliban the morale boost for the incursion
I don't believe this would happen to this degree under Trump due to his ill temper and aggressive nature
I do believe the Taliban would have still seized control in Afghanistan even if it was Trump simply because of how quickly the afghani government collapsed and fled
But Trump was a madman with his finger on the Trigger
The Taliban likely would have feared a disproportionate and immediate response.
It wouldnt have been this bad, not nearly the same
Biden changed the timeline giving the Taliban time to plan, time that the Biden admin clearly did not use to plan themselves.
This could have done many different ways and it seems the biden admin has ben AWOL on many of our crises
The border is a disaster, the economy is a disaster, and now Afghanistan
Sorry but even without a frame of reference, considering Trump is not presiding over this, I still think the Biden admin can be blamed
Its good we are leaving, its good Biden followed through, the problem is more than Biden's
Its Obama and Bush as well
Blame Trump?
Biden could have just said stay
Its still good the US is leaving imo
I will give Biden that, he could have just said screw it and stayed
Getting out is the right move even if done poorly and its a damn shame its going down like this
But what were we supposed to do? Colonize the country for another 80 years?
