Today I'm going to be reviewing one of my favorite films of all time, Back to the Future. I was out of ideas for movies to do for today, so I decided to go for this one because I'd seen it again recently and it's fresh on my mind. So let's get into it.
Like I mentioned, this is one of my favorite movies. This means that this review is probably going to be pretty one-sided. The movie was great, and I only have great things to say about it.
To start off with, my favorite thing about this movie is how everything is connected. You have the town of Hill Valley and then you have Marty McFly and his family. Everything revolves around that family as well as the town and the people in it.
In the film, Marty's scientist friend Emmet "Doc" Brown shows him a time machine he's built. Doc is then shot, and to get away from the Libyans, Marty takes the time machine car and travels 30 years into the past.
Marty then runs into his parents and relatives of other people he knows, and tries to figure out a way to get back to the future. He gets the help of the Doc in the past to do this. Before he goes back, however, he has to make sure his parents get together.
This drives the action and plot of the movie, all of which is simple and perfect. You know what's going on at all times, and it's really fun to watch. All of the characters are funny and charismatic, and meet the energy of one another.
I really don't have any complaints about this movie. It was obviously crafted with care and was made exactly the way it was meant to be made. It delivers on a simple concept perfectly, and makes for a fun and intriguing movie to watch.
I obviously recommend this movie. You've probably already seen it, but if you haven't: do. It's a fantastic movie and you won't regret it.
