Semalam dilaporkan konsensus telah dicapai berhubung pemilihan Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob sebagai calon BN untuk jawatan Perdana Menteri.

Selamat pagi dari Kompleks Mahkamah Jalan Duta. Pagi ini DS Rosmah Mansor akan mendengar keputusan penghakiman terhadap tiga pertuduhan yang dihadapinya berhubung projek solar di Sarawak.

Mengikut kertas pertuduhan, Rosmah didakwa meminta rasuah RM187.5 juta, dan dua pertuduhan terima rasuah RM6.5 juta dari Jepak Holdings.

Sabit kesalahan penjara maksimum 20 tahun, denda tidak kurang lima kali ganda nilai suapan, atau RM10k, atau mana-mana lebih tinggi. @501Awani

Semoga kita dimerdekakan dari budaya politik lapuk yang banyak melahirkan amalan atau norma yang merosakkan, yang menidakkan potensi, dan menghalang kemajuan negara.
Bila sebut pasal ‘merdeka’, pasti ada rakan-rakan yang ‘terguris’. Kerana ‘merdeka’ itu soal Semenanjung, hujah mereka. One of my recent ‘merdeka’ tweets was criticised by many, some of them sounded personal to me. Nvm that’s another story.
Apa pun, semoga media Malaysia satu hari nanti dimerdekakan dari individu atau kelompok yang merasakan naratif semasa tertakluk kepada kehendak mereka.

People tend to say a national budget before the general election is an election budget indeed.

A simple laymen term would be - how the government would be using the (mostly) public fund to win the hearts and minds of the people.
Last time ex-PM Muhyiddin said, he was told by the PN Cabinet Ministers that this time around, it would be the PM Ismail Sabri himself to table the budget.

Dunno if a non FM PM has done it before. Can anyone tell?
PM Ismail Sabri just now told the media that he will get formal consultation from AG Idrus Harun if such process is indeed allowed.

Hari ini Mahkamah Rayuan akan putuskan mengenai rayuan MP Baling Abdul Azeez Rahim untuk kenepikan 13 pertuduhan rasuah dan pengubahan wang haram membabitkan dirinya @501Awani
Mengikut pertuduhan, bekas Pengerusi TH itu didakwa atas 13 pertuduhan berkaitan projek pembinaan lebuh raya dan naik taraf jalan raya di Kedah dan Perak.

Tiga pertuduhan menerima rasuah berjumlah RM5.2 juta, 10 pertuduhan pengubahan wang haram. @501Awani

Good morning from the side of POJ. It’s raining cats and dogs here ladies and gentlemen.

Today is the much anticipated day. The main appeal involving Former premier DS Najib Tun Razak is set to proceed today. @501Awani
So what will happen today? Senior lawyers and observers said it could be -

1.Hisyam Teh changes his mind and proceeds with the submissions.
2.Hisyam maintains his stand not to submit anything.
If it goes to second opt, court shall rely on what ever submitted during the appeal process at the Court of Appeal last year. The three-member panel upheld the conviction by the High Court. 12 years imprisonment, RM210 mln fine for all seven charges.

Di salah sebuah lokasi di Kelantan, hujung 2014. Sebatang jalan, satu-satunya akses ke beberapa kampung di situ, dinaiki air ke paras pinggang. Di situ juga kelihatan dua trak besar sarat dengan barang keperluan yang asas.
Sempat berbual dengan orang yang mengendalikan bantuan itu. Medical Doctor, tapi turun atas nama NGO. Dialeknya bukan orang tempatan (Kelantan). Sudah berkira-kira mahu meredah jalan yang ditenggelami air itu.
Sayup-sayup dari seberang sana, sebuah sampan menghampiri. Turun seorang lelaki berpakaian yang lazimnya pengawal Menteri, bawa briefcase. Datang menghampiri kami dan bertanya - “Awak nampak tak bos saya Datuk xxx? “. Kami geleng kepala. Dia dah terpisah dengan bos dia rupanya.
