/ oh my again in March, esp badly hit in the West where even the Bus Service 252 was being diverted from Enterprise Road, skipping 9 bus stops?!?! [23 Mar 2021]

/ Abt [17 Apr 2021] flash flood. This downpour at Ulu Pandan is the highest daily rainfall for April recorded islandwide since 1980. Rainfall of 170.6mm was recorded in a single day - around 110% of Singapore climate station’s average amount for April. straitstimes.com/singapore/envi…
/ doesn't seem to be much in May/June on flash floods in SG but here's July. Heavy rainfall was recorded in the north-western parts of the island with flash floods along Tampines Expressway. [13 Jul 2021] straitstimes.com/singapore/comm…
/ Ok it's unsure/not reported whether the flash floods explicitly resulted in the Bukit Batok Town Park "mud slide" (is this accurate?) though trees fell at BB due to the heavy downpour. straitstimes.com/singapore/envi…
/ Note that for the 13 July 2021 rain and flash floods, temperatures dropped to 22 degC . Windy, wet AND cold. straitstimes.com/singapore/comm…
/ Note that some of these heavy rainfall/floods happen like for a week or so. I'm just counting INCIDENCE rather than amount of rain + duration.
/ Oke, [20 August 2021]. This one sounds the most intense so far so bear with a few tweets. Firstly, GG tampines-pasir ris junction. 13 vehicles were found stationary & partially submerged in water. ~25 people had evacuated from these vehicles. mothership.sg/2021/08/heavy-…
/ Note that these flash floods also caused major jams, traffic holdups and also some individuals were injured (probably as an unfortunate downstream impact of the flash flood + prob some chaos) but yikes. straitstimes.com/singapore/envi…
