How do we explain this situation in Romania?

25% of population vaccinated.

Cases & deaths plummeting.

Government closing down vaccinating centres and selling vaccines to the West.

Same in most Eastern European countries 🧐 ImageImage
All vax centres shut down in Brasov my home city.

I am amazed how much controversy has raised just looking at a set of current data and facts.

Below I will list my explanations with an important disclaimer: this is based on some ( not all ) info I gathered but I am not an expert and don't claim to be one. Just common sense/1
Possible explanations:
- natural immunity through previous exposure in large cities
- seasonality
- demographics : most rural population unvaccinated but possibly not exposed yet and cases may rise in the future in those areas. /2
- difference in testing and reporting systems ( compared to other jurisdictions ) , however change in the data is too sudden not to be obvious and reported

- delay / lag time in Delta dominance but a large no of Romanians work in the Western Eu and travelled home for summer /3
- difference in diet , obesity compared with Western world ( weak argument imo )

- some people suggested that data is not to be trusted as healthcare corruption is known in Ro . I am becoming more aware of corruption in the western Eu. Not sure this denial holds /4
- a lot of suggestions that vax is causing the cases, a theory supported by important scientists @GVDBossche , @RWMaloneMD and #LucMontagnier and pointing towards data from countries with high vax rate.

To me, correlation is not causation yet and I hold judgement on this. /5
One thing is obvious and surprising to me: we are clearly practicing a 'confirmation bias' thinking and it seems as the majority of us are falling to the fallacy of excluding the middle. /5
The vaccination rate is accurate in different countries (it is safe to accept) and excess hospitalisations and deaths will become obvious and hard to ignore. Sadly.

It is best to observe and show real data and maintain a moderate, reserved and considerate opinion. /End.

Important question.

Can any of the experts provide the evidence and rational underpinning the NPHET advice for vaccinating people with natural immunity for Covid (ie recovered from infection) ?

@CillianDeGascun @jlamber55605930 @HIVTox or indeed other international experts.
This a very interesting paper:
