Every time Ethiopia does something positive, western politicians, bureaucrats & fake organisations come up with false allegations & disinformation. Most of these ridiculous allegations come out from @PowerUSAID of @USAID or @JosepBorrellF of @EUCouncil or @amnesty & @hrw 1/5

These false allegations will thus be picked up by the usual suspects in the western media who are often prepared in advance as part of conspiracy to taint Ethiopia’s name. Then we see the likes of @AP @Reuters @CNN @BBCWorld & others spreading the allegations as a news item. 2/5

The pundits in the name of ‘Africa experts’ stationed from Nairobi to London, Washington to Johannesburg, Brussels to Oslo and many other places jump in to comment and spread the allegations & disinformation further and give the allegations social media presence and trends. 3/5

Once the allegations have trended on social media with the help of influencers, some are paid, it is time to recycle the story; hence it is once again picked up by the Mainstream Media & further disinformation continues. This what Ethiopia has been going in the past 9 months. 4/5

All these happen because Ethiopia says no to the US & western interventionism & neo-colonialism.

As Ethiopians we have to keep exposing these lies & false allegations. We've no options, but to speak loudly. Speak up today folks to defend the motherland from neo-colonialism. 5/5
