BSP TELANGANA state committee meeting, TELANGANA attended by IPS Praveen Kumar & Ramji Gautam, National Vice President & National Coordinator, BSP

BSP in TELANGANA is institutionalizing itself in a formal way and it has slowly started capturing imagination of Telugu Dalit communities.

Ramji Gautam, a low profile but very astute young politician, also from Jatav community of WesternUP, who joined BSP in 1998 and has risen through ranks also attended the meeting. He is known for his organizational skills.

Telugu land is not Tamil Nadu. Telugu culture has lot of Northern Indian cultural influence and linking Dalits of UP & Dalits of Telugu lands together using "Rakshabandhan" is good political move.

It is very important to culturally link Dalit communities of Telugu lands like Malas & Madigas with Hindi speaking Jatavs of UP.

Without that cultural connect, amalgamation of North & South Dalits will not happen, which is essential for growth of BSP in Telangana.

Telangana in particular and Telugu lands in general are perfect for BSP to grow in South led by a charismatic Dalit leader like Praveen Kumar. The lack of Praveen Kumar like leaders is why BSP couldn't flourish in non-UP, Hindi speaking states of North.

Lastly,

Politics is an altogether different ball game and IPS Praveen Kumar is doing very well, using all cultural connections to integrate a Hindi cultural Dalit polity with Telugu Dalit community, something that has not happened before and Telangana is best suited for that.
