Sri GuruRayaru was a born prodigy, a brilliant scholar & orator, prolific writer, excellent grammarian, chatuhshashti-kalaa-kovida an expert in all forms of learning. He had proficiency in music, gifted Veena player > Veena-Venkanna

Looking at his calibre in grammar and expert debating skills and profound knowledge, Sri Sudheendra Theertharu (Vidya Guru of Sri Raghavendra Swamy) called him as “Mahabhashya Venkatanathacharya”

Sri Guru Raayaru had blessings and grace of Goddess of Learning Goddess Saraswathi and in fact he received disha/nirdesha (direction) from the Goddess before getting initiated into Asceticism.

Sri RaAyaru was an extraordinarily brilliant writer credited to have authored more than 40 divine works majority of which R vyakhyana on the works of Sri Madhvacharya (including Mahabharata Tatparya Nirnaya Bhava Sangraha), Sri Jayathirtharu & Sri VyasaRajaru, Vedas & Upanishads.

Sri GuruRaayaru wrote Nyayasudha Parimala one of the most popular commentaries on Nyayasudha of Sri Jayateertharu. It is because of this Sri RaAyaru is called #Parimalacharya;

RajaAdhiraAja Guru Saarvabhouma, Mantralaya Sri Raghavendra Swamy for the benefit of humanity has composed the essence of #SundaraKaAnda from the 7th chapter of MBTN in just one sloka in his composition > "Mahabharata-Tatparya-Nirnaya Bhava-Sangraha"

Meaning.....
I worship Lord Sri Ramacandra by whose Grace, Sri Hanuman,
> crossed the ocean easily;
> reached Lanka;
> found Sita;
> demolished the Ashokavana;
> saw the ten-headed Ravana;
> burned the Lankapuri;
> again crossed the ocean;
> returned and bowed to Him.

It is believed that by reciting this sloka with sincere devotion and faith one will get the benefit of making Sundarakanda Parayana.

Sri RagHavendra Swamy for the benefit of humanity narrated SrimadRamayana in eleven verses called Sri #Ramacharitrya Manjari - By reciting this sacred stotra one gets the benefit of reciting Srimad Ramayana & also praying Sri Ramachandra Prabhu.

In one of His best treatises "PratahkaAla Sankalpa Gadya" Sri GuruRaAyaru has made a stimulating description of Sri VaAyu Devaru the Mukhya Praana who is the foremost among the worshippers of the Almighty Supreme God, SriManNarayana.

Through sloka # 3 from Sri Raghavendra Mangalashtaka, Sri Appannacharyaru is giving us an idea/estimate of the depth of Sri Guru RaAyaru's knowledge and the type of devotees serving him.

Including Vedas, Upanishads, Bramha-Sutras, Puranas, Mimamsa (Poorva/Uttara), Sri Guru Rayaru is an erudite, proficient, well-versed & expert in Alankara Shastra, Poetry, Drama (Nataka), Arts, Nyaya-Vaiseshika, Yoga-shastra, Music etc. he was/is adored by multitude frm all Varnas

Just an example of the prowess of Sri GuruRaayaru in Arts, the moorti (Vigraha) of Lord Venkateshwara sculpted and installed at Mantralayam by Sri GuruRaayaru.
