President @edmnangagwa is today launching the Zimplats Palmline Investments Cattle Ranching Project in Ngezi. Under the project, Zimplats has 3 types of cattle; the Commercial/Beef Herd (1493), the Waygu (Japanese Cow) herd (178) and the Dairy herd (851). #TowardsVision2030🇿🇼
Zimplats Cattle Ranching Project herd breakdown :
*Commercial /Beef herd*
- 1 460 cows and heifers and 33 bulls.
-target 2000 cattle by Dec 2021 and 5000 breeding cow herd by 2026.
- beef sales to the local market to commence in October 2021.
*Dairy herd*
- 666 cows and heifers
- 178 F1 Waygu & Jersey cross calves
- 7 bulls
-targeted to have 1500 Jersey and Jersey X Dairy heifers by June 2022 and 5000 Jersey and Jersey X by 2026.
- Average production of 3100 litres per day with a target of 13000-16000 litres per day
*Waygu herd (Japanese Cow)*
- 178 F1 Waygu calves of various ages.
- Plans for further investment into core breeding herd through acquisition of 20 full blood cows in 2021 and 2022 and 10 full blood bulls in 2022.

Hon Nokhuthula Matsikenyeri, MP for Chimanimani West, Manicaland Province, is now Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Manicaland Province. Hon Matsikenyeri holds a Bachelor of Education Degree and Diploma in Education.

Cabinet considered and approved the amendments to the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act [Chapter 9 :23].
The amendments will criminalise the conduct of isolated citizens or groups who, for self-gain co-operate or connive with hostile foreign governments to inflict suffering on Zimbabwean citizens and to cause damage to national interests.
Other actions that will become punishable include planned and timed protests deliberately designed to coincide with major international, continental or regional events or visits. Unsubstantiated claims of torture and abductions will also be criminalised.
