Well here we go - CEO of the Children’s Hospital Association is pleading to Biden for help because the pediatric hospitals are being overwhelmed, and it is only going to get worse.

Why didn't they see it coming? It is simple math and taking the time to think ahead.

The @AmerAcadPeds is milquetoast and not calling out the many schools and states that are endangering our children.

We need to urgently abort the launch until we can do this safely.
Children are such great way to start people.

Children are the strongest souls you will ever meet. They do what need to be done. It's the adults that won't.

We need to be #Stronger together. Don't do this to them.

What does @POTUS need to do to get COVID under control? It's basic:
➡️Launch comprehensive educational campaign so people can understand what an airborne virus is and how they can protect themselves
➡️DPA to provide N95/equivalent elastomeric masks to ALL Americans including kids
➡️Withhold federal educational funds from all states that do not mandate masks and vaccination of all eligible staff and students
➡️Withold Medicare funds from healthcare entities that do not mandate vaccination AND require health care workers to use N95 masks at all times
➡️DPA to provide all Americans to access to cheap at-home COVID screening tests
➡️Provide science-based national guidelines for school ventilation, air filtration, and student spacing
➡️Provide critically needed support to hospitals and schools - ask them what they need

Remember: the desensitization to death and suffering that the 1918 flu brought paved the way for fascism in the 1920s and 1930s.
Or you could also say that fascism desensitized us to death and suffering.

The negligence of the WHO and CDC was a crime against humanity
Not only did they discarded the Chinese experience showing that the virus is airborne, they actively suppressed evidence that it is airborne.

They could have simply accepted the science, and admitted that we were underprepared for an airborne pandemic.
We could have then done the best that we could to make do, by putting massive resources into the production and distribution of adequate PPE for all people, along with mitigation strategies like ventilation/opening windows/being outside.

We have a growing domestic terrorism movement cloaked as a “health freedom” movement.

These are very dangerous ideologues who are killing people in your communities and threatening people devoted to public health.

Thank you, @PeterHotez for your tireless work in fighting them.
They are using the strategy of "If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth," and "All press coverage is good press coverage."

These are the same strategies that Trump used. The same that were used to transform Germany into a dictatorship by an extreme minority cult.
Every American single death from COVID since July has been preventable. Every. Single. One.

And now the US is pursuing an unspoken strategy of mass-infecting its children, apparently in an effort to appease anti-science extremists.
