@LesHanshaw @HeyTammyBruce I recall ref to isis-k came up after UBL was killed, but I need to find the reference. Back then they called it “Khorasan” or “Khorasan Group” or some such nonsense. Btw, did I miss the names of the so called “ISIS-K Planner” & now a “Facilitator” that Biden admin claims it hit?

@LesHanshaw @HeyTammyBruce Here’s a reference to “Khorasan Group” AND Khorasan in Syria, mentioned as an Al Qaeda splinter group of 50 or so at the time criticalthreats.org/reports/terror… (let’s face it, looks like Biden admin dusted off an old AQ file & repackaged it as an ISIS faction operating in Afghanistan).

@LesHanshaw @HeyTammyBruce Why? To attempt to soften the image of the Taliban to excuse this administration from not only negotiating with but also arming one of the worst terrorist groups, the Taliban (intentionally or unintentionally [a disclaimer which I add to appease the censors]).
