⏰ I love automating tiny processes to save seconds. It sounds like a waste of time, but those seconds add up.

Sometimes it's not about saving time; it's about creating a few moments of breathing space.

🚘 I call them mini automations.

Here's an example 👇
If you often do things online that require the same web pages to be open in different tabs, you can automate that.

For example, when I write a Twitter thread, I want the following web pages open: @grammarly @twitter @unsplash and @hypefury.
To do this, I use a free Chrome extension called @tobyfortabs ⭐️

When I open my browser, Toby is there, and I can open the tabs I need in one click...
It's super-fast, look 👇
🎬 Here's a 30-second video about Toby: vimeo.com/203812669/e8da…

🛠 And here's a link to the Chrome extension: chrome.google.com/webstore/detai…
💬 How do you use mini automations in your work?

💭 Can you think of anything you could automate to save a few seconds?

On the surface, it looked like I had it all.

I was on the board of directors for an international finance company. I had a glass-walled corner office, earned good money and drove a convertible.

Not bad for someone in their late twenties who never made it to university...
... but I wasn't happy.

None of my family or friends understood what I did - heck - I am not even sure I did.

My work felt meaningless.

As I approached 30, I just kept thinking, 'who am I helping?'
