Republicans do things they know will be legally challenged. It's as much a PR move as anything. But, they also control the courts. Dems can no longer be dismissive of these moves. SCOTUS is now a Death Panel b/c we let Mitch steal a seat. We doubted his resolve to be evil.
We doubted the GOP's commitment to power at all costs. We have to assume that they are willing to destroy democracy to preserve power. THEY'RE KILLING THEIR OWN VOTERS B/C THEY DON'T PLAN TO HONOR ELECTIONS!

Sadly, part of the reason they're able to achieve this is b/c Democrats have refused to play the game as it is. We have left a void that is filled by shameless liars and thieves. We have ignored the dangers and continue to do the same thing over and over again.
